It only took me 3 days to read this book because I didn't put it down...except to sleep!
Harry is starting his sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and has found an old used book in potions which its previous owner wrote extra instructions and new spells in. He starts to beat Hermione in Potions tests and this really annoys her as she is supposed to be the most intelligent witch of her age!
The spells written in the book actually work as one day Harry gets angry and tries it on malfoy!
Harry finds out who the old Potions book belongs to and who calls himself the Half Blood prince. He also goes to find Horcruxes with Dumbledore but what happens to them when they actually find one!!! You'll just have to read it yourself to find out..

**Why Buy It?**
If like me your a big HarryPotter fan like me then you HAVE to read it as you want to knew what happens next. If your not as serious as us fans then you may read the book just to see if you like the Potter series or not. But the reason a lot of people buy it is because there children want to read it but can i stress that this is not actually that big of a childrens book.

This is the sixth instalment of the HarryPotter series by J.KRowling.
I've always been a fan of the HarryPotter books, especially during the first few years when all the hype was at its peak. The 5th and 6th book have come out very slowly and with each book through the series, each academic year seems to be packed with more events and so each of the books are often bulkier and longer.
However, after the fourth book I started to become a little disillusioned. Though the previous 5th book, the Order of the Phoenix was good and still engaging, I felt at times the drama just lacked substance. With many pages describing things that were not necessary and were not meaningful to the plot ...
Advantages: Stephen Fry, Incredible Story, Fantastic! Disadvantages: May be unsuitable for younger ones
