Although, i had brought the game, i had a feeling in my sub-concious, if there would be any dissapointment in the game. As you know, Harry makes an army called 'Dumbledores' army, you have to locate members of griffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw, and you meet them in the Room of requirements, where you teach them Defense spells and how to produce patronauses. This mission is relevant to your completion of the game, as you would not be able to carry on playing, unless you have all the members, so make sure you have a good look around hogwarts, because ... more
Harry Potter And the Order of the Phonix
Ahh,Harry potter, the boy you lived. If you ever watched the order of the phoenix at cinemas, munching away your popcorn, looking at spells being burst out from wands; "_Stupefy!_" "_Crucio!_" and harry's famous one "_Expelliarmus!_". You would of wanted to know how it would feel like to be in Harry potters shoes. So, as i had the same desire, i decided to purchase the game. (was kind of pricey in my opinion)
Although, i had brought the game, i had a feeling in my sub-concious, if there would be any dissapointment in the game. But i left that on one side and quickly made an attempt to go home and play it on my computer. So i inserted the disk and installed it. It was a memory killer! I had alot of games already on my hard drive and this nearly seemed to blow most of my hard drives memory away. (around 4gb i think it was). ===Grimmauld Place=== Anyway enough of what i did and time to go into more detail of the game, you start in Grimmauld place, which is siruis blacks house (Harrys Godfather), where you spend your time learning new spells and getting used to the controls, i think one of the first spell was "_Reparo_", and you basically had to repair pottery and any other kitchen equipment, it was kind of fun at first, because you have to move your mouse in the right directions, but the really big thing that dissapointed me was, how slow the spells worked. It made the game feel really slow, however, the way the pottery magically fixed itself was amazing, i would sometimes break something and repair it repeatedly just to the see the way it fixed itself.
Hogwarts
As in the movie, you go back into Hogwarts. And guess what hogwarts is made from full blueprints that J.K rowling herself had made. It was really detailed, from dungeons to the highest tower. There was alot of side missions, however i was concerned that more of the game was about exploring Hogwarts rather than following the story line. You can interact with players, and do quests that the students ask. Hogwarts is so huge that i myself, who's been playing for weeks still do not know the place inside and out.
Side-Missions
Side-missions. Its always included in any adventure/exploring game. Some were interesting, and some weren't. Most of the side-missions, were involved in the storyline. For example You have to help Fred and George, load all there firecrackers, from the bottom floor to the top. Which they use later on in the game, where they fly with broomsticks in the hall, and throw fireworks from above and frighten Dolores Umbridge. Hint: Finding side missions are very hard, and you'll know that when you play the game.* Winks*
Dumbledores army
As you know, Harry makes an army called 'Dumbledores' army, you have to locate members of griffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw, and you meet them in the Room of requirements, where you teach them Defense spells and how to produce patronauses. This mission is relevant to your completion of the game, as you would not be able to carry on playing, unless you have all the members, so make sure you have a good look around hogwarts, because it will take a good while.
Duelling
Wooo!!!, finally the best part of the movies, that no one could ever lay their eyes off. The duelling is more complexed and fun that ever before. You have the same spells that are cast in the movie, and you get to duel, Harrys enemies (Including Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and other slytherins). Ofcourse there was a dissapointment in it. The casting was rather slow, and you mostly had to move your mouse in random directions. The spells that were performed were very slow, so you would have to wait until it reached. However i do believe that the duel experience would be better if they had inhanced the physical properties, every spell that had hit them made them just limp for afew seconds, and then they would just carry on as if nothing hit them.
Characters you play as
In this game, its not just harry that you play as, you play as Fred and George, who help harry in hogwarts. You play as sirius who battles Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy at the end of the game at the ministry of magic, and last but not least, you get to play Dumbledore, when you face voldemort. The only duel you have against voldemort as Harry is when you have to use your Occulumacy skills against him, right at the end.
Places that are NOT accessible
Well the Developers were going to get lazy at one point, and here are some things i discovered that weren't in the game...
#The taking of OWL examinations directly; although player will earn OWL grades by lessons - top marks will unlock new rewards.
# Quidditch and Flying, apart from the section of the game with Fred and George.
#Changing characters to Ron and Hermione, but Fred and George Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, and Sirius Black are playable as the game progresses.
#A few areas are inaccessible, especially with there not being an option to debug; The Whomping Willow is on the Marauder's Map but can't be located, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw Common Rooms are nonexistent, Slytherin Common Room stops abruptly at the bottom of a staircase, Divination class, Gryffindor Girls' Dormitory, the Quidditch Pitch, and Stadium are inaccessible and Hagrid's Hut cannot be entered; Dumbledore's office is shown in several cut-scenes, but not present; there are also several locked doors on the Grand Staircase leading to unknown parts of the castle.
#You cannot get in the Chamber of Secrets, but you can get to the entrance
# Snape's worst memory was not featured in this; Snape instead gets angry at Harry for defeating him in Occlumency. The series of rooms where the Philosopher's Stone was held cannot be found, even though you can access the third floor corridor.
Hardware Requirements
Windows® XP or Vista 1.6 GHz or faster processor 256MB RAM 4.5GB hard disk space DirectX® 9.0 compatible video and sound cards The requirements are not very high. So its playable on a computer that is brought for home use, or office use.
Well i hope that you make your mind on whether you will buy this game or not. But i certainly would recommend it. Bye =)

Manufacturer's product description
In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community has been denied the truth about the teenager's recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort's return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore's Army", Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead.
