England's Nicholas Hooper (a usual collaborator of new director David Yates) succeeds Patrick Doyle and John Williams. The screeching electric guitar that suddenly errupts on the very first track, "Fireworks," lets the listener know that all is not quiet on the Hogwarts front. The kiddies are growing up, evil is spreading: which is worse?! But actually this modern sonic touch is deceiving: Hooper works within an old-school format and mostly sticks to tried-and-true effects. His score is best when it goes for tension and unease, particularly in its use of low, rumbling tones: A choir starts by humming in a menacing manner in "Dementors in the Underpass"; the sound at the beginning of "The Death of Sirius" feels as if it's being belched out from some deep, dark, scary place, creating an effective atmosphere of dread. Elsewhere, the beginning of "Possession" feels as if it belongs in a J-horror movie, and then the track becomes deceptively calm before the storm hits again. Keen listeners will recognize Williams' "Hedwig's Theme" in "Another Story," but mostly Hooper is his own man. Just like the overall series, which gets darker and darker as it goes along, this CD makes for a rather brooding listening experience--the pizzicato violins on "Umbridge Spoils a Beautiful Morning" provide one of the few jaunty touches. --Elisabeth Vincentelli

With the return of Voldemort, panic and fear has risen within the wizarding community, with the torture and murder of innnocent witches and wizards all over the country. Something has to be done to stop Voldemort and his followers ; The Death Eaters.
The Order Of The Phoenix, was an organistation, that was set up the first time Voldemort came to power. Now he's back, the Order has been restored to stop him and his Death Eaters before it turns into an all out war. It's not only the older witches and wizards who want to fight, but the younger ones too. Harry, Ron, Hermione and several others, come together to create the D.A ; Dumbledores Army. They want to learn to defend themselves against the dark arts, which they are unable to study in school, since Dolores Umbridge became the new teacher of Defence Against The Dark Arts. She's a ruthless, harsh teacher, who's very old fashions and doesnt believe that Voldemort is back, and the younger students should be learning how to do defensive spells.
The fifth in the Potter series, see's Harry back at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. Straight away you notice the games graphics are so much better, especially now its on the Xbox 360, (having played the previous games on the Playstation 2). The inside of Hogwarts, the grounds and surrounding countryside look graphicly stunning.
The story starts back in the summer, back in Little Whinging in Surrey, where you must defend yourself against domentors, as they attack Dudley in an tunnel near the play park. Casting the perfect Patronis charm. Whizzing forward to the start of year at Hogwarts. Your greated by Fred & George, before heading into the great hall, for the start of year feast.
The game pretty much follows everything that happens in the film, praticing spells in the D.A, fighting against the Death Eaters and Voldemort himself. However, aside from the main story, there are plenty of side missions to keep you busy, Collecting Fred & George's parcels, finding passwords for all the talking portraits scattered around Hogwarts is one that keeps you busy for quite a while.
You can interact with nearly everything in the game, if a spell can be cast on something, it will light up. Just experiment to see what spells work on some things best.
Everytime you discover something new in any part of hogwarts, by casting a spell of any kind on it, you receive little blue discovery points, they will float at you from whatever you discovered. Once you collect so many of these, you achieve a new level of discovery, this in turn, unlocks special features on the game. These can be found in your own special awards room on the 6th floor. Moaning Myrtle will come to you each time you reach a new level of discovery to let you know you've unlocked something.
Gameplay is good, movement is pretty simple and smooth. Spellcasting is simple as. If you ever forget how to do a spell, simply press start and there's an option to view the "spell list". Directional arrows will show you how to cast the spell using the right analogue stick on the Xbox controller.
There's so much to see and do on this game, it'd be hard for me to write everything down, its more fun to just discover it on your own. I'd recommend this game to any Harry Potter buffs out there, its a beaut. It does the story justice, and there's hours of endless fun to be had. If you want a break from doing side missions, or the main story, you can play a game of Exploding Snap, Wizard Chess or Gobstones.
Overall I'd rate this game 9/10, the only downside to it is, the main story is too short. However theres still a bucket load of things you can see and do on the game. So get exploring!

Advantages: The Game Lets You Freely Roam Hogwarts Disadvantages: The Spell Performing Isn't As Fun On An Xbox 360
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This, in conjunction with the movie, is the fifth game that follows the story of the books/films. I had played on the games for a couple of the previous films and i have to say i was never overly impressed. For this reason, my hopes weren't high for Order of the Phoenix (OOTP). I loved both the film and the book but didn't really expect much from the game. How wrong I was.
OOTP is EVERYTHING that I and ... ...and out). You play as Harry and can literally walk around Hogwarts as it is meant to be. The game developers have apparently gone over the books and the films with a fine tooth-comb and have designed Hogwarts as near to "exact" as you could be. It is an excellent experience being able to walk freely around Hogwarts. It's a MASSIVE place but you have the marauder's map to help guide you.
The game has no load times and is the most realistic one so ...

Manufacturer's product description
In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community has been denied the truth about the teenager's recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort's return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore's Army", Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead.
