i phoned up the shorehouse shoebury to book a table for 13 on saturday feb18th and was told " we do not reserve tables at the weekends".so we decided to go earlier than planned at 6.30pm.we arrived to be told by one of the staff there would be a 2 hour wait as all the tables were booked!!!! when i spoke to the manager he said you could book!! what made it worst that a table big enough for family was empty at 6.30 was still empty at gone 7 when we went our seperate ways home.we were told it was booked for 8.30!!! this was a special meal as a belated xmas meal as my grandson had a accident on his motorbike and has only just been well enough to come out so what a disapointting evening.
Perhaps you could add some more details about why you chose to go there initially ie. was it because you thought the menu had something that would suit everyone in your group? Can you give any specific examples of the prices per meal and did you think it was value for money? Also perhaps something about how long it took after you ordered for your food to arrive, or whether there were any problems with the correct meals getting to the correct table etc.
