Talking Iggle Piggle From in The Night Garden
In The Night Garden is a TV show broadcast on CBeebies which is a channel for little children. Jack is just over eight months old now and it seems if we do have the TV on, this is the channel that is playing. So much so that I can't remember watching any of my own programmes for a long, long time (gone are the days of daytime Neighbours and Doctors!). Anyway In The Night Garden is shown on CBeebies twice ... ...and the other at around half 6 at night.
Iggle Piggle is one of the characters from this show and in my view the best one. The show itself has very simple and rather silly story lines that half the time even I am not sure what is going on let alone Jack. Jack is not quite at the stage where he is really into things like this although I myself have become quite attached to the show and all of its characters. I had already bought Jack an In The Night ...

Now Rhys is able to understand the concept of television I cant seem to get him away from it. I wanted to tidy up one day so I put on c-beebies the channel for young children when Rhys first caught sight of this programme In the Night Garden.
I must admit he loves it now and I have been known to watch the occassional one myself. Its abit like teletubbies in the way they dont talk much just make stupid sounds.

It comes with his trademark red blanket, which does detach for cleaning which can be done in the machine on a low heat, it is attached via velcro to his hand.
It also came with batteries which are in the back of iggle piggle un-covered by a velco fastening, which Rhys hasn't figured out yet.
To make the toy work you just simple press his tummy and he makes his usual noise even that memorable tune "Yes ...

Advantages: Great Value for money and provides hours of fun for kids Disadvantages: Once you have one, children will want the others!
I guess I am not the only parent aorund whose child has been gripped in the phenomena that is the "Night Garden".
As early as August last year we realised that all our son would want for christmas were characters such as Iggle Piggle, Upsie Daisy and Makka Pakka. And selling was going crazy. Come Christmas my son was blessed to be given by father Christmas all of above.
The Iggle Piggle is a fantastic toy pricing at approx £14.99 for the standard ... ...EVERY penny you pay - the make itself of the plush toy is fantastic - come March and there is not a single snag in it despite constant play. Also it is the perfect size for a toddler to cuddle and it is not at all hard feeling despite having a voice box mechanism. My son takes him to bed every night and it has been fine.
With many talking toys you may get two or three phrases that repeeat again and again. Well not here! Iggle Piggle has half a dozen ...
