This toy was originally released as an Attack of The Clones "Republic Gunship" in 2002. Back then is was mostly grey with very little detail. Now redesigned by Hasbro as the "Clone Wars Gunship" this is a massive improvement and one that has been welcomed by fans.
The Clone War Gunship has been given a very effective customized look and is packed with special features for added play value. The cockpit can fit 2 Clone Pilots, the side panels slide open and the inner landing platform detaches to deploy Clone Troopers into battle. There are also a number of firing weapons, missiles and bombs.
