...Please note the set I bought is not the ultimate one and only has three figures Spider-Man, New Goblin and Sandman and is called Spider-Man 3 Final Face-off pack. I have now bought Ultimate Face-Off so I am reviewing both. The Ultimate Face Off contains two extra figures Metallic grey and silver Spider-Man and Venom

...for kids. OK, and for adults too. The gun fires Nerf bullets (one at a time) over surprisingly long distances (~10 m). The trigger is on the handle you hold when wearing the toy. The bullets are very soft foam with a soft rubber tip and seem safe for young children. You get three bullets and the spares can be stored inside the robot forearm.
-Summary-
Overall this is a fun toy with lots of role-play value for children. The simplicity of the transformation means this toy would be particularly suitable for younger children of 3-4 upwards (Hasbro state 5+). The toy seems very well put together and durable. The design should appeal to young fans of the 2007 movie whilst also having some nostalgia value for parents. If you're looking to completely spoil your child, this would be a good match with the Optimus Prime talking mask which is also...
