Advantages Enjoyable book about the paranormal

Disadvantages Nothing

I love the book Haunted Castles of Britain and Ireland which was written by Richard Jones. This book was given to me as a gift a little while ago and is a joy to read. I love to read about the paranormal as it is one of my pastimes and I have friends who attend my local spiritualist chuch and I have made many more friends since I have started to attend.

This book costs £5 and it has 160 pages along with some very lovely accompanying photos which help to show where the ghouls and ghosts haunt, even to this present day. There are also maps included so you see clearly the places which are most haunted and extracts from original documents. The book is fascinating and wonderful.

The author, Richard Jones, is a well known ghost seeker and an expert in this field. He tells us that ghosts frequent certain parts of Ireland and Britain and they have favourite places, including castles where they were attached while they were living and where they like to go back to. The author goes to different regions to show the reader where these specters congregate and where to find them if you are looking out for them

I love to read the stories over and over again about malevolent and wicked monks of times gone by who have not been able to move on into the light and who are bound to this earth by their wickedness and sins. The monks wander the corridors of the Tower of London. All of the lost poor souls have had a tortured past such as ghostly tormented queens and white and gray ladies who roamed the castles and moan for their loss and past lives.

This is a wonderful book for anyone who is interested in the paranormal and who enjoys reading more about this subject. The book is written in a way which is easy to understand and does not use over long words or jargon. There are some excellent witness stories of true life events and happenings and I have loaned this book to my friend who says she also is really enjoying reading it.

I recommend this book to you.
