Advantages: Works, lifetime waranty, easy to use(its just plug and play) Disadvantages: Nothing special about it, equivalent prducts can be found everywhere
...What can I say about it except it does the job and does it well. Its fast (as the name suggests) and is compatible with the industry standards (up to 720x480pixels and 30fps) I hear you cry what makes this better than any other analogue video to pc cable and the answer is not very much. You plug it, in use the included compatible software and copy your source to pc. It works with just about any standard analogue source. Its a pretty standard piece of kit with nothing amazing to really pull it out the slosh of the general market, its as good as any and has a lifetime waranty but I'm sure you can find the equivalent of this product for less. I only recomend it for the life time waranty, not that much can go wrong on a cable and a bit of software....

Advantages: Helps free up space on Camcorder Tapes Disadvantages: Tricky to install
...The Dazzle Videoinputadapter was a Handy Tool indeed. Previous to having this adapter i could only play movies from my camcorder from the T.V which was a complicated business but with it i can now make DVD's of all my favourite memorys.
The Dazzle Videoinputadapter was tricky to use. Many leads wires and much installation was needed to install the software and device. The actually interface of the software was up to date and modern and pleasing on the eye although still tricky on the mind.
Even thow tricky and hard to install the dazzle software really does capture memorys on DVD's effectively for thos people without digital camcorders.
People say take pictures they last longer, well no dazzle has made it so your memorys will last even longer on DVD....

Advantages: Good picture and sound quality, easy to use Disadvantages: Cheap looking
...cannot play tracks based on genre for instance. I next tried the JPG viewing functions. My collection of JPGs are in a wide variety of sizes up to 3000x2000 and all were scaled to the TV's resolution with no problems. Indeed, the lack of flicker when the higher resolution ones were displayed was actually better than when displayed directly via some of the cameras used to take the images. Finally, I tried some MPEG1 and 2 files. The quality of playback here was truly impressive. The video quality was extremely good with no hint of jumps or artifacting. If your PC also includes a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) type card or you have some files ripped from DVDs, you'll be very happy with the results when played back through the MediaMVP.
I was less impressed by the limited range of playback formats but Hauppauge do seem to be regularly improving...

An excellent card let down by clunky outdated software. Hardware-wise it's hard to beat as it has both and analog and digital terrestrial tuners as well as a hardware mpeg encoder on the analog side to aid in the transfer of home movies from Tape to DVD. more
