Where the search ends
Advantages: high quality sound, wireless and excellent fittness Disadvantages: none as of now
...some amazing thing about the Sony MDR-RF860RK headphone. This is product so far surpassed my expectations as to what i noticed with the silence its got when theirs no music playing, the excellent high quality for the music it gives and it goes off when it receives no signals to conserve the batteries. The sound drops when the signal is interrupted and that's so good. The wireless headphone is highly recommended for lovers of loud music. It fits well ... ...you are moving around. It is very comfortable when you wear it. With the double use of rechargeable batteries and normal batteries makes it possible never to run out of charge. I have not so far have any disappointment with the headphone and i will say they are just where the music ends. Its just a perfect reach for a sound quality. ...

PXC 250 - Good VFM noise-cancelling headphones
Advantages: Great value for money. Excellent at dealing with low frequencies. Disadvantages: Bulky battery pack. Phone interference may be an issue for some.
...invested in a pair of Sennheiser CX 300’s which are an in-ear type and much more suitable for on-the-go and iPod use (see my review of the same on this site). Another potential downside is that they can suffer from mobile phone interference, but as I mainly use them on tube and plane, this is not really an issue for me.
Battery life is pretty good. I would estimate around 16 to 20 hours of near constant use with high performance batteries, or around ...

Audiophile headphones at a reasonable price
Advantages: Great sound quality, comfortable Disadvantages: Long cable, large connector, slight lack of bass
Introduction Sennheiser are a well known name in the music industry in terms for high quality, producing mainly headphones and microphones, both for businesses and personal use. The HD555s are one of Sennheiser's "audiophile" offerings according to the website, sitting between the HD515 and the HD595. Currently selling for £69.99, these are hardly the cheapest headphones, but with so many rave reviews around I decided it was worth at least ... ...needed though - why don't Sennheiser offer a shorter cable? The only place to get them pre-made is through audiophile websites, and these sites are hardly cheap - $70 for a cable? These negative points aside, I was still very much looking forward to trying them out, so I connected them up to my PC... Testing To test them, I decided to play 3 very different tracks, from a variety of genres. The first was Beethoven's "Symphony No. 5 In C Minor: ...

User test- Sennheiser RS120 Wireless Headphones
Advantages: Sound Quality, Cost, Mobility, Design, Ergonomics Disadvantages: Weight
...bass response and like other Sennheiser models has a pretty clear 'top end' (or high frequency response). - I was pleasently supprised when they charge was finnished and I first tuned them in. The sound quality is obviously not as good as a pair of headphones costing 100+ pounds, but then you're getting them for around 60 quid, and they're wireless! - If you are after top quality studio or reference headphones, then the RS120's aren't for you. If ... ...that I've found with other Sennheiser models of headphone is that they don't look very 'cool' on your head....Don't get me wrong, the design in nice but they tend to look quite bulky on one's head....basically they don't hug the shape of your head that well, but then again this is purely cosmetic and it's not like you'll be wearing these out on the street!

On the base unit there is only 1 switch. This switch allows you to ...
