Shure- have you heard of them
Advantages: Great sound isolation Disadvantages: may be over budget
...may not of heard of shure headphones, but in fact they're the unsung hero's of headphones, of professional quality and when you see the price you have to pay for an entry level pair, you may also think, for that money ill get the bose ones, or the bang and olufsen ones, a better name so better headphones right? wrong! firstly neither offers the same noice isolation as these their unique technology makes you oblivious to the world around you and the ... ...a better pair, maybe your tired of the tube/plane noise when your trying to listen to music and you don't want a large over-ear pair, or your tired of headphones breaking all the time because of their cheap build quality, all of these are solved with any shure headphone set. ...

Great sound, shame about the Moneypenny...
Advantages: Exceptional comfort, Durable protective case Disadvantages: It's a high price for high levels of quality.
...pleased with experiences of the Shure E3Cs.
I picked up a pair about a year ago when I was about to embark upon a little bit of traveling and I don't know how I would have coped without them. The quality is absolutely sensational for the average user (me) and I feel like I'm constantly noticing new bits in the background of my music that I was entirely oblivious to through lesser 'phones. In terms of comfort, they come with three different designs ... ...ensure a tight fit for anyone's canal. The cables slip unobtrusively over the top of the ears themselves and down your neck with an unnoticeable but sturdy stealthiness. Top marks here as I have on several times put them in so I could listen to music while I went to sleep and not taken them out until the morning!
The accompanying protective case is the cherry on the cake as it ensures the durability of the equipment while remaining portable enough ...

iLove My Music
Advantages: Stylish, durable, easy to use Disadvantages: Sound quality not as good as more expensive products, length of chord could be longer
...and that’s all down to Apple and their range of computers, coupled with the iPod in which then came iTunes; a place where anyone can download music to their computers to sync with their iPod, to CD’s or simply to listen to on their computer. It’s safe to say that Apple have achieved the best gadget of the decade in the iPod. But what good is an iPod or indeed any portable music player without headphones? I doubt I have to answer that for you but ... ...you?
This is where Apple have come up with a winner with their classic set of headphones. Apple headphones have always been pretty much the same over the years and I think they’re all the better for it. You can go out and buy all the latest £100 pairs of headphones that you like, but you’ll look just as stylish with these because they have become synonymous with iPods, therefore as long as iPods continue to be seen not only as revolutionary music ...

Decent enough but could be better!
Advantages: Decent fit, good sound quality, free with Ipods Disadvantages: Expensive if bought without Ipod, breaks quite easily
Apple Ipod Earphones Review Apple Ipod Earphones are probably the most used and also the most recognizable earphones available. You will walk down the street and nearly always see someone wearing these or on the tube. Everyone has them because nearly everyone has an Ipod. However the earphones are actually not that great and although free with an Ipod cost about £15-20 if you want them new and I definitely would not recommend them if you are ... ...look quite nice like all Apple products. I do like the look of the earphones compared to most others around. ***Fitting and Comfort*** The earphones are quite comfortable and fit reasonably well. Mine used to often fall out of my left ear for some reason but that does not really happen now! They are basically quite nice fitting but nothing special. ***Sound Quality*** People sometimes criticize the Ipod sound quality but in these earphones the sound ...

Better than your average pair, but not without flaws
Advantages: Great sound quality, Isolates noise, Great bass Disadvantages: Poor treble, Poor packaging
There are a few reasons why you might want noise-isolating earphones. The obvious is, of course, the "noise isolating" (although to be more accurate it should be noise-cancelling). Earphones like this sit in the ear canal and expand so that extraneous noise is blocked out (other types of noise-cancelling headphones use a microphone on the outside powered by batteries and, if you're interested in listening to music on the train or plane, that sort ... ...The other reason to use this type of earphone would be because they don't tend to fall out as much as traditional earbuds of the sort you get with an iPod. I for one can only use that sort of earphone with the small foam "sock" or something similar as I seem to have very strange ears! So if you find yourself constantly having to push earphones back in, or find the falling out while at the gym or on the bike, then this type might be worth looking ...
