Better than your average pair, but not without flaws
Advantages: Great sound quality, Isolates noise, Great bass Disadvantages: Poor treble, Poor packaging
There are a few reasons why you might want noise-isolating earphones. The obvious is, of course, the "noise isolating" (although to be more accurate it should be noise-cancelling). Earphones like this sit in the ear canal and expand so that extraneous noise is blocked out (other types of noise-cancelling headphones use a microphone on the outside powered by batteries and, if you're interested in listening to music on the train or plane, that sort ... ...The other reason to use this type of earphone would be because they don't tend to fall out as much as traditional earbuds of the sort you get with an iPod. I for one can only use that sort of earphone with the small foam "sock" or something similar as I seem to have very strange ears! So if you find yourself constantly having to push earphones back in, or find the falling out while at the gym or on the bike, then this type might be worth looking ...

Great Value headphones
Advantages: Rich sound & deep bass Disadvantages: None really
I wanted to upgrade my pair of cheap in ear headphones to something which provided a deeper sound range & better bass but was still affordable. I did orginally look into the idea of buying tradional over the head ones but they seem to suffer with sound leakage issues which I wasn't keen on as I was mostly going to be using them in the office. So after considering a number of alternatives, I decided to opt for the CS 300-II's which I managed to purchase ... ...I can notice a huge difference from my previous headphones. They provide great sound clariety & a deep and reach base, as well as providing a noice cancelling function which is unusual in headphones of this price. They come with a set of different sized ear buds so you can choose the one which is most comfortable. For the money, I think these headphones are great value! ...

Excellent comfy and robust sports headphone
Advantages: Comfy, good sound, robust Disadvantages: Bright orange colour
I bought the Sennheiser PMX 80 since I was in need of a good set of sports headphones for use while running. I was at the time temporarily using a set of Cheapo ear bud headphones, which were basically rubbish – they fell out all the time (and one of the ear buds was actually falling apart). The Sennheiser PMX 80 however has a very good fit – you can shake your head like mad, yank the cord, even pull them – and they never fall of. They are also very ... ...pale in comparison to my Sennheiser HD595 can's which I use at home (which are however one of the best sets of headphones available), and also slightly below the level of my usual portable Sony EX headphones which I use when travelling. In Short In short I'm very happy with these headphones – they have now accompanied me on many runs, indoor rows and even cross-country skiing abroad. Aside from making me stick out due to their fluorescent colour, ...

Decent but pricey for the sound quality
Advantages: Comfortable, robustly built Disadvantages: A bit pricey
...and it is not up with the top Sennheiser earphones. Though jamming those inside your ears would take a lot more getting used to.. Lastly, they seem well built and sturdy, and have lasted well so far for 4 months. I'm expecting at least 2 years out of them. ...
