Not a good solution

Advantages: Small, practical
Disadvantages: Poor sound

...your ears I guess. These JVC ones don't sit tightly enough on your ears. Even when you can hear what's coming out of them correctly it is often tinny with no where near enough bass. It's not because they are small either as I have used similar priced in ear phones before with way better sound. I have since brought a more traditional set of headphones for travelling with.
