Ouch. That hurt my ears more than my pocket.
Advantages: Lightweight, sounds good, looks good, volume control
Disadvantages: Has to be uncomfortably tight to make noise cancellation work
My second Panasonic purchase of late. These are active noise cancelling earphones, which is not apparent in the product details here at ciao, unless you peer rather closely at the picture. Technically they work, but I don't like them. Here's why.

...month ago, I saw these Panasonic earphones, bought and opened them there and then. At about 80 US dollars (42 quid at the time), they weren't cheap, but that's more a flaw of airport shops. The build quality is good and the box was supplied with the required AAA battery, which has lasted over twenty hours of intermittent use (and should apparently last up to 50 hours).
