Puns on milkshakes, whatever next?
Review of For Goodness Shakes - GreatChocMalt by nathaninnit

Advantages: For the athlete in you
Disadvantages: If you can't serve it cold

...price it was an opportunity for people to grab it at a 50p pricetag rather than the £1.03 that Tesco usually retail it at. Very expensive for a milkshake in all truth. But everyone I saw drinking it had good things to say about it, and it is fair to say that there is more to For Goodness Shakes than just a milkshake - it is being advertised as a sports recovery drink. After seeing a voucher in the sports section of The Sun last week to get a free ...
...colour is that colour of For Goodness Shakes. On the back of the product they actually have a recommendation written by Dean Macey, an Olmypic athlete, complete with signiature and all. This is topped off by an absolutely huge list of nutritional information. '500g of greatness', but can that be proven by the taste? * GOODNESS GRACIOUS * Undoing the lid there is a tin foil cover over the top of the product, which is easily removed. The product then ... Red Bull's version of Cola
Review of Red Bull Cola by fg4f

Advantages: Nice to try a more natural Cola
Disadvantages: It's not the real Coca Cola we know.

Red Bull Cola, created by the makers of Red Bull. The company claims to have made this version of Cola, to bring back how Cola used to be made. Made of ingredients from natural sources 'just like the good old days'. They are proud of their new drink, because thanks to its special recipe, it's a special Cola that is strong and natural. Ingredients: The ingredients are listed on the back of the can. On their website it is as listed: Coca leaf ...
...natural flavour, caffeine. Red Bull Cola is from 100% natural sources. It's the only cola which contains both the original Kola nut and the Coca leaf. Taste: It has a classic cola taste, without being so sweet, this is done by using the right plant extracts. I always found Coca Cola was a bit sweet, I always drank Diet because it wasn't so sugary. Coca Cola has been known for rotting your teeth easily, so these new ingredients for Red Bull Cola ... Read review

Hang the hangover, put a spring back in your step!
Review of Red Devil Stimuland Energy Drink by joemac69

Advantages: An excellent pick me up for the morning after
Disadvantages: VERY sweet! One can is more than enough!

...called "designer drinks" such as Red Devil, but after a night out with friends recently I reached for a can during my nine to five job the following day. I'm sure a few of us know the feeling when time seems to stand still and that lack of energy sensation that goes hand in hand with a bit of a hangover - the only place you want to be is bed! However, I have to say that Red Devil provided me with the pick me up I needed. Although it is very sweet ... Read review

A drink to help you become a winner (or not)
Review of Asda isotonic citrus flavour sports drink by oldwasp

Advantages: Faster rehydration, cheaper than other brands
Disadvantages: Taste, Hard to open, you will still lose against a better person

...the game. Chose the Asda Isotonic citrus flavour 500ml bottles for 44p or £1.64 for a pack of 4, a bit cheaper than the other brands. It comes with a sports cap for easy drinking during sport but not easy opening.First there is a clear plastic cover you take that off then to open the sports cap you have to pull up and twist to break the seal, after sucking so hard i nearly swallowed my tongue and the bottle. There is also another twist and pull ...
...a foil seal over the top of the bottle,so most of my energy is used up befor playing badminton great. Now i know you have to have some form of seal to stop people tampering with the drink but 3 is a bit over the top. First impressions of the drink very very tangy and quite sharp when you first taste it but settles down once your taste buds get used to it, then it tastes ok. But then the after taste gets you, to many sweeteners in the drink. So first ... Read review

~ Stop with Light, Diet, Low fat, Low cal! ~
Review of Horlicks Light Malt Chocolate by blue_ashleigh

Advantages: It's a relatively cheap drink
Disadvantages: It doesn't taste great, doesn't send you to sleep

...make good films, and that Horlicks does not make good hot chocolate. Having hunted around my cupboards for some hot chocolate I stumbled upon a sachet of Horlicks Extra Light hot chocolate which I'd received free a while ago. So, I boiled the kettle, got out my cup, and read the packaging. The design of the packaging is pretty much the same as that for the tub which you can see above, except mine came in a sachet not a tub. There's a picture of ...
...thicker consistency than water. My Horlicks hot chocolate had the consistency of water and a very faint taste of questionable chocolate. ~ The Smell ~ The sachet contained 11g of hot chocolate powder (the average serving apparently), which did fill a good fifth of my cup when I tipped it in. I was debating whether to take some out as it seemed like a lot of chocolate powder, but I decided to leave it. The powder is like any other powder really ... Read review
