We found a Which report from I think Oct 06 (http://www.mattressmaster.com/images/HealthBeds%20Which%20Report.pdf) where this mattress came out as the best in test, and that it was slightly firmer ... ...price.
The mattress itself is several cm of memory foam on top of a layer of normal foam, all wrapped in a zip-on mattress protector (a high-tech breathable fabric related to Coolmax I think).
We have had it for 4 weeks now. My selection in the compulsory box for Durability is Average but I really can't comment in this short time period.

We found a Which report from I think Oct 06 (http://www.mattressmaster.com/images/HealthBeds%20Which%20Report.pdf) where this mattress came out as the best in test, and that it was slightly firmer than the Tempur mattresses, more durable, and about half the price.

It's incredibly comfortable. When I get into bed, I very slowly sink into the memory foam, which is firm enough to give my back great support in whatever position I choose, but definitely soft and cosy and I sink into it just the right amount. I sleep wonderfully and wake up much more refreshed than ever before. My husband loves it too. We can sleep without disturbing each other, or cuddle up together without falling into a depression in the mattress.
It's not too heavy for rotating (needs to be rotated every week for the first few months, they say), but it is really a 2-person task. (No need to flip this mattress). We'd read about several foam mattresses having a strange odour for several weeks. This one had almost none at all, and it faded within a few days.
Overall, we love this mattress, and just hope it's as durable as Which Magazine thought it was, as it only has a 12-month guarantee. Prices vary massively online so shop around.
I can't believe I just almost doubled the length of this review and the Ciao website lost it all!
I was trying to respond to the questions. Maybe I'll do it later.
Advantages: Absolute bliss to lie on Disadvantages: Don't want to get up in the morning!
...tests on mattresses, and the Healthbeds Memoryflex has won it more than once. In face I contacted Healthbeds via their website, and they sent me a copy of the Which? report (well, you would wouldn't you?!) and that helped us take the plunge. So once I'd found the double mattress via Quidco for £380, I thought it was worth a gamble - and it has been. This is the comfiest mattress I've ever slept on, without doubt. I can sleep through the night now, ... ...feels soft yet supportive, cosy but not too warm. All the bad points I've read about memory foam just do not apply to this one! We've had it for a couple of months now, and it's still bliss! We love it, and completely recommend it, without reservation. Just hunt around for a bargain price - as I say at the moment it's KD Beds via Quidco for the cashback, but this'll change, so do your own research into prices, and enjoy. ...
