I have been through so many baby cups, I've found ones that leaked, dripped, clogged up and ones where the lid just falls off. So when looking again, I came across the Cow Cup....

Packaging The cup came strapped to a box. The box was very easy on the eye, showing a field and a sky so very blue and green.. I assume this is as cows live in fields! On the back where the instructions for use etc, and on the front the "Amadeus" logo of a hand and the Cow Cup logo.
Design The Cow Cup is a baby beaker which holds 300ml of liquid. On the outside of the cup it has a funky black and white cow hide print which is very eye catching. It has two large handles so its easy to grasp for little hands.
The cup is hard and cannot be squeezed. As its made of plastic, its easy to clean and wipeable. The spout is black, and its tough. It has 3 holes for the liquid to be sucked out. The cup comes with a lid/cover for the spout when its not being used or for on the move - however I see this as its only design fault as the spout cover doesn't clip on, it merely rests over the spout and many a time it has fallen off in my babies change bag and I've had to rummage through to find it, sometimes its gone missing for days on end and i'll then find it somewhere!
Inside the spout is a valve which you can take on or off as you need too. I don't use the valve as my son is thirsty a lot of the time and prefers freeflow, as with the valve he has to suck it to death before he gets the amount of juice he wants.
The cups lid clicks into place onto the main body of the cup, and its tough to prise on and off, however this is so nosey babies don't take the lid off and spill their drink everywhere, and so far, this has worked!
The non-spill design of the cup is working a treat, my son carts the beaker around with him wherever he goes and we have had no spills, he throws it off his highchair and still, no leaks.
Price The Cow Cup is currently on 2 for £4 from Asda (or £2.02 for one) and a whopping £3.99 for Boots, so i'd recommend a trip to Asda!
Anything else I should know? The Cow Cup cannot be used in the microwave or be used for serving hot drinks.
Negatives The reason I only give this cup 4 stars is because of the design fault of the spout cover falling off all the time, and also as when my son has juice in it, it stains the inside of the cup. The Cow Cup does say its for milk though and there is never any mention of juice going in it, but in my opinion the cup is a cup, so any liquid should be able to go in it! So after use its best to rinse it straight away.
Would I recommend? YES! Even though the cup has design faults, the main reason I like this cup is because non-spill really does mean non-spill. The cup is funky, and if bought from the right place can be good value for money.
Advantages: is non-spill and can also be freeflow - the choice is yours Disadvantages: the lid is too tight, loose spout cover, needs some grips on the cup
...buy the Amadeus Anyway Up Healthy Eating Big Cow Cup from Tesco and it cost £3.49 and can be found in the 'feeding' section of the Baby aisle. The Big Cow Cup holds 325ml of fluid, it has a Black and White Cow print on it and is for toddlers 12+ months. It comes packaged in brightly coloured Green cardboard and really stands out on the shelf. If you look on the shelf you will find a number of other Amadeus products including beakers with handles, ... ...I recommend the Anyway Up Healthy Eating Big Cow Cup? Yes, though it is expensive compared to other beakers, but my Son loves it so it's worth every penny. It is very modern and funky looking and has an eye catching moo print pattern. The Cup is non-spill even when thrown from high chair level and is sturdy. I rate the Big Cow Cup 4 stars as the only disadvantages are the tight lid, loose spout cover and it would benefit from having some grips on ...
