Ok now you can play this with 3-7 players, although my review will be the 4 player game, this is the easiest type to play.
This is a real easy game to play, once you know how to, as I said I taught myself so it can't be that hard lol. Firstly you have a deck of 52 cards, the players cut for the deal the lowest cut card deals, although on MSN the computer decides who deals first, then the cards are dealt out between the 4 players, which gives you 13 cards per player.
Each player now looks at their cards, and decides which 3 cards to pass to another player, the rotation of the pass changes each hand and are as follows:
Cards are passed to the right at the first deal. To the left with the second. Across with the third. At the fourth deal, players keep their own cards.
The first person to start the game off, will always be the person who has the 2 of clubs in their hand. You must follow suit on each hand where ever you can. On the first down if you can't follow suit, you can play any other card, except for the queen of spades or a heart.
After the first deal you can play any suit except hearts, until hearts has been broken. This means a heart has been played into someones hand.

What is shooting the moon?? I am sure you have heard of this phrase. Shooting the moon is when a player takes all the hearts, plus the queen of spades in their tricks. That would give them 26 points, right? No it is not, as shooting the moon is very hard to do, the player that manages this is well rewarded. Each of the other players will be given 26 points, and the person who shot the moon would get no points.
Ok now some handy tips for you:
* Always pass a low heart which could stop a player from shotting the moon.
* If you are dealt the queen of spades try to pass it to another player, also if you are dealt the king and ace of spades try to get rid of them.
* If you can follow suit, use a heart, queen of spades, or get rid of a high card.
* You cant use a heart or the queen of spades on the first trick, so get rid of your highest card.
* Do not always use your highest card unless you are the last person to play a card, you could get caught with the queen.
Well thats about it for hearts, it really is a simple game once you learn the rules. I will advise to maybe practice against the computer first before playing against real people, this gives you chance to learn the game.

The player who holds the two of clubs always goes first. This makes clubs the suit of the first round. You HAVE to follow suit if you have any of the same as the first player. Advantages: Good strategy and chatting while playing. Disadvantages: Addictive and costly if your paying by the minute.
...at least the Ace of hearts and other high cards in the hearts suit, unless you have all the master tricks of the other suits in your hand.
If you are long suited in spades then it would be unwise and unneccesary to pass the Queen of spades. The spade/heart combination two suited hand is a sure thing for Shouting the Moon as long as you have the master cards.
Playing to win a trick early in the game will inevitably raise your score but will stop ... ...is to reduce the playable hearts in anyones hand which then will enable you to draw out the remaining hearts with your master cards.
If you hold the Queen of spades consider passing clubs as these are usually played first so you may be able to discard the Queen of spades when you have no clubs. This can be also be done with diamonds as a second choice.
If you pass the Queen of spades across or to the right, then if you are the third layer of playing ...

The game of Hearts comes as standard with all computers using Windows. Playing with this version is fun and will help you to learn the game. But if you’re looking for serious fun and action then this game has to be played online against real live players.

Whenever any one player reaches ... ...I was first introduced to Hearts I thought in my mind “What a Boring Game”. When I actually tried it and got the hang of it I really loved it. It is very addictive and you need to use a lot of common sense and wits against the other players.
I play daily online and my favourite place is Yahoo. They have a wonderful games section and at any given time you will find thousands of people playing in many different rooms.

Hearts – aka The Queen of Big Trouble or Black Maria.
Much has been said about the PC game Hearts, but I find the rules restrictive and oversimplified. The version below, with a real deck, is much improved. I hope others have experienced the same, or will discover a new experience on reading this. Drop me a line if you have other variants.

There is a Trump suit, which rotates so that in a set of 5 hands you have Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades and No Trumps respectively acting as the Trump suit for that hand. ...entertain you. (no comments thanks!) Hearts tries to do this. How it works is that, there are four players involved (must be four) and they are all dealt thirteen cards of the playing pack. There are four main rounds which are on a continuous repeated circle.
In the first round you pass three of your thirteen cards to the left.
The second round sees you passing three to the right.
The third sees you passing them to the player opposite you.
The ... ...no low hearts, or low hearts backed up with plenty of high hearts. If you are a beginner, I would suggest that you try and get rid of all your high cards and to try not to shoot the moon until you develop your own little skills you think work, and then have a go at it.
One very popular move is to try and pass all of the cards you have of one suit. If you have one, two or three cards of one suit, clearing that suit out and hoping that you do not ...
