One of the better cop/robber movies I've seen, The movie was made over 15years ago one of the original cops and robbers movies in my opinion. Heat puts Miami Vice and Bad Boys to shame. Heat some some great action scenes but it also has a good story line that makes it worth watching. It's not filled with lots of special effects (probably because it was made in 1995) the movie relies more on the actors and story line for it's greatness. Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Val Kilmer really teamed up and made the movie believable/realistic

Robert De Niro and his crew try to put together one last big 'retirement' score. De Niro and Pacino are similar in many ways in the film, including their troubled personal lives. Thus the stage is set for the suspenseful ending
