A great set of rollers!

Advantages: shiny, full of volume curls!
Disadvantages: Still time consuming!

...think the price is reasonable- John Lewis retail this at £18 and when I've looked at other similar items they seem to be around this price too. I am heading out this weekend to John Lewis' and intend to buy myself a set. The box was neat and compact and so wont take up too much space in my dressing table! I was really pleased with this! ...

NClarke Heated Rollers Review

Advantages: produces some quite nice waves
Disadvantages: takes FOREVER to achieve!!!!!

i love having my hair curly but fed up with spending hours tonging it so i purshased some heated rollers assuming it would take less time. i was really unimpressed with these rollers! they took forever to heat up and i mean forever!!! so dont even think about putting them in before work! secondly, there are twelve rollers but you can only heat up 6 at a time, and trust me you need all twelve becaue they are not very big. so once you have waited ...

CARMEN CURLERS

Advantages: curl quickly
Disadvantages: take some time to fully heat

...something cheap. When i saw carmen girls i had heard they were tacky and childish but to my surprise they were great !! These curlers are amazing, they heat up in a short amount of time( but i've had quicker) and once fully heated they curl well that last all day without going flat or frizzy and dont really need hairspray, also there is a stand attatched to the curler to put on surfaces without burning plus it takes a matter of seconds to curl my ...

Remington Hair Envy Rag Rollers

Advantages: Case, fantastic soft curls, do not damage hair
Disadvantages: Wire become too bent to be of use, heavy, not for short hair

Bought these just after Christmas after having perm that didn't work and needed something to create some curls in the mess that was my shoulder length hair. I had never used heated rollers before so was not at all sure how to use them or if they would work. Was very pleasantly surprised at the results. They take 30 mins to heat up and are fairly easy to put in. Your hair really needs to be 5-6" long or they will not stay in as the ends do not have ...
...fairly heavy. I found keeping them in for the 30 mins or so needed for the curls to take required the use of a shower cap to take the weight off the rollers as they fell out every time I took a step. Another thing to be aware of is that with continued use (3-4 times/week) I found that unless you unbend then VERY carefully after each use in the exact reverse of the way you bent them, then the ends become shorter and shorter as the wire inside the ...
