hairstraighter
Review of Nclarke NCK3/NCR3/NCR5 by
munte87
Advantages: straight, tender hair
Disadvantages: can't use it every day, because the hair will become scorched, can't use it when hair is wet
I bought the hairstraighter, because I wanted straight, nice hair. My hair is not long and quite bulgy, so I wanted to have perfect hair, just like from haidresser's. At first I was really very happy with my hair, because it was straight, shining and tender. I used hair polish after hairstraightening in case to keep goog hairstyle shape. It was easy to use and I had the right hairstyle quickly.
There are disadvantages too. You can't use it often. ... ...be violated it is not true. I noticed that my hair became dry and rough after long usage. So you have to use masks, balsam if you want to have nice, healthy, shining hair.
Besides a lot depends from your hair style. If it is curly I think that you will have to spend much more time if you want straight hair. ...

Remington Hair Envy Rag Rollers
Review of Remington HAIR ENVY RAG Rollers by
kathryns
Advantages: Case, fantastic soft curls, do not damage hair
Disadvantages: Wire become too bent to be of use, heavy, not for short hair
Bought these just after Christmas after having perm that didn't work and needed something to create some curls in the mess that was my shoulder length hair. I had never used heated rollers before so was not at all sure how to use them or if they would work.
Was very pleasantly surprised at the results. They take 30 mins to heat up and are fairly easy to put in. Your hair really needs to be 5-6" long or they will not stay in as the ends do not have ... ...fairly heavy. I found keeping them in for the 30 mins or so needed for the curls to take required the use of a shower cap to take the weight off the rollers as they fell out every time I took a step.
Another thing to be aware of is that with continued use (3-4 times/week) I found that unless you unbend then VERY carefully after each use in the exact reverse of the way you bent them, then the ends become shorter and shorter as the wire inside the ...

Hot Sticks For Stylish Chicks Who Get Ready Quick
Review of Toni And Guy HOT Sticks F/Styler by
lizngaz
Advantages: Quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: dont get as hot as I would like, only 1 set temperature
Toni and Guy Hot Sticks are long, thin, red sticks with a metal rod through the middle (to hold heat) which come in a silver storage case, which heats up the sticks when they are placed in it and turned on. I purchased some for about £25 - £30 (never can remember how much I've spent on things!) as it seemed a quick way of curling my hair while I was getting ready to go out and I was fed up of spending ages trying to achieve the perfect look. The ... ...wonderfully.
I would recommend Toni and Guy Hot Sticks to any girls, like myself, who like to get ready in a hurry. I mean, come on girls, you can pop these in and get your housework done, then take them out and look fabulous. Or how about popping them in before you have a relax in the bath? Get out, apply your makeup, get dressed, take out the Hot Sticks and off you go.... what a fab idea, I know what I'm doing next time I go out!!! ...

Time savers and easy to use
Review of Remington H2040 by
rachael23
Advantages: easy to use, curls well, not too harsh on your hair
Disadvantages: could do with a few more rollers for longer /thicker hair
I have very thick hair which comes down about 3-4 inches below my shoulders. My hair does have a natural wave but not in a nice sexy wavey fashion, more like a dragged through a hedge backwards kind of look!
Usually I straighten my hair but I have always fancied trying something different. I got some curling tongs which worked a lot better then I thought they would but took FOREVER to do! I saw these rollers on amazon and have got an ionic hairdryer ... ...a try.
They where quite easy to put in and there was enough to do all my hair but only just. The instructions where not very helpful and gave no idea how long to leave them in for so i just left them until they went cold. Putting them in was also quite easy as they stay cool around the ends and they are covered in felt (or something similar) so your hair doesnt slip and you dont burn yourself!
They did curl my hair really well but i still ended ...
