Review of Be Modern Krypton by SAMBUD07

Advantages: Easy to instal, an attractve focul point and suit any style of decor.
Disadvantages: Very heavy.

Having stared at a blank wall for fifteen years I decided a focul point was needed in my large living room. As my home is decorated in quite a contemporary style I opted for a wall mounted electric suite which I purchased on line. The Krypton Suite exceeded my expectations, it was so easy to mount on my wall and not only is it an attractive feature it is extremely functional and it is very user friendly, the remote control is an added bonus. I love ... Read review

Review of Igenix 1.2 KW Halogen Heater by AK-47

Advantages: produces instant heat, lightweight, low energy costs, safe
Disadvantages: the plastic finish does look a bit cheap

...and the purchase of three Igenix 1.2 KW Halogen Heaters were purchased from Wilkinsons for only £8.99 each. Bought online they retail for around £20 each so a real saving was made and it worked out at around £75 cheaper than using oil filled radiators. Standing 60cm high and 30cm wide the heater produces thermal energy from three strip halogen lights refelected off a metallic surface to the rear. Setting it up is really easy as it already comes ...
...slotting the main unit into the base. Operation is also entirely uncomplicated. With three heat settings 1200w, 800w and 400w it is just a case of clicking on the switch to select and then switching the power on. As soon as the power is on the unit lights up and the heat is produced pretty much in the blink of an eye. With the option to let the unit turn up to 70 degrees you can position the unit centrally in a room and it will distribute heat evenly. ... Read review

B&Q Oil Filled Radiator
Review of B&Q OIL Filled Radiator 1500W by Hsaxo

Advantages: Small, heats the fulll room, bargain price
Disadvantages: takes a whle to heat up

...for the bedroom. Went to B&Q as knew they had quite a selection didn't want a huge one as we don't really have much room in the bedroom. We bought it as a replacement for the halogen that we had been using which the dogs kept walking past and singing their tails in. It takes quite a while to heat up even when it is on full power but once it is warm it is more than enough to warm our bedroom up. It has various settings of heat so once the room is ...
...paid £19.99 for this from B&Q around 6months ago and comes with a years guarantee in case anything should go wrong with it., as far as I am aware they still sell these now all though they might not have as many in stock as it is getting towards summer. It does not use much electricity and is very economical using only 4p an hour whilst in use on maximum power. Not sure how this compares to other brands as I have only bought this one but it definitely ... Read review

Review of Tesco Value MINI OIL Filled Radiator by brittle1906

Advantages: Cheap to buy, efficient and easy to use and install.
Disadvantages: No timer, electric heating is not the most cost effective

TESCO VALUE MINI OIL FILLED RADIATOR It seems rather fitting to be penning a review about a heater in early April with snow falling thick and fast outside! This compact radiator is ideal for providing heat in small areas, as the name implies it is a small appliance. The radiator is white in colour,so would blend in with most colour schemes. It is very light and easy to move around, being freestanding, not wall mounted. It produces a remarkable ...
...more traditional domestic setting, the Tesco Value Mini Oil Filled radiator would make a good standby form of heating or a suitable heater for instant heat in a small room. The radiator cost £19.99 from Tesco Extra, Northampton branch, in November 2007. It represents extremely good value for money and although electricity is not the most cost effective method of heating, for occasional use you cannot go far wrong with this radiator. It is not the ... Read review
