Making my feet heavenly...

I bought my 'Heavenly Feet' sandals three weeks ago and they seem to have lived up to their name. I'm on a tight budget and needed some summer shoes as the days have got sunnier. After a few pairs from a cheap shoes shop turned out to be a false economy after falling apart after a few wears, I went out looking for something reasonable that would last. A new shoe shop had recently opened in town and as I was browsing I noticed they stocked a large range of a brand called 'Heavenly Shoes.' The sarong shoes first caught my eye as I liked the style and they looked very sturdy. Under the 'Heavenly Shoes' logo in the inside it read 'anti fatigue footwear' which suggested to me they would be comfortable, even after a long time wearing them. I don't drive and my feet are my main mode of transport so this sounded pretty good to me. I tried on a 40, my usual size however they were slightly tight and decided to go for the 41 which I had a bit more room in. As I've worn them they now seem a tad loose at the back and I've wondered if I should have gone for the smaller size, but being a little big hasn't affected the comfort. The shoes cost £24.99 and came in a funky red box with a carry handle.
Style and quality
The shoes are a chunky style, with black leather upper with silver metal detail. They have an ankle strap which fastens with velcro. The sole is very thick black plastic. I was looking for something with a thick sole as I find very thin soles often split, however I was worried that such a hard plastic my also break or be uncomfortable to walk in. I need not have worried, so far they haven't worn or split at all. I love the look of these shoes, they aren't dainty or girly but then neither am I!
The inside of the shoe is padded with soft leather covering. This feels really luxurious on your feet and is very comfortable. The inside of the leather strap is covered in the same material and from the second I put them they were comfortable and have never rubbed which is unusual with new shoes, especially sandals. I find in most cases even shoes that become super comfortable eventually need a bit of wearing in. Not with my Heavenly Shoes.
The Brand
I'd not heard of the brand before buying these sandals so I did a bit of research. On their website Heavenly Feet say this - 'Heavenly Feet are a leading on-line retailer of high quality, comfort focused, footwear. All products are manufactured to exacting standards and are chosen because they help support a healthy well-being and a comfortable foot environment.'
Where to get them
Obviously these shoes are also sold in high street shoe shops as I found but their website offers all their newest styles with free delivery so I may be going there for some more! The Sarong shoes are not longer on there but you can get them in from other online shoe stores and through ebay sellers. They are available in the black like mine, purple with brass coloured detail and what HS call 'Beige' though they looked more brown to me!
Recommended!
I would wholeheartedly recommend these shoes. They are comfortable from the first wear and continue to be however long you wear them for. They are a good price for the excellent quality and look good too. All I'd want from new shoes.
Glad to be back with your E :~) xXx
