Heinz Classic Cream of Chicken Soup

I recently purchased this Heinz tin of chicken soup when they were on offer in Asda 5 for £2, I thought this was a great deal as it works out at just 40p a can, cheaper than buying supermarkets own brand soup! I am all for saving money on my food bill, but I have tried the own brand soups and I just don’t like them! Many items of food taste the same, or a little different but still nice but cheap soup is definitely not worth buying! Although I have been denying it for days, my flatmates have started moving out of our flat. This, fortunately, is not down to another argument or someone not fitting in, but is simply because the lease is coming to an end and two of them have left early to go au pairing in Spain and Italy. Now winter is rolling in I like to eat something warm at lunch time, and with working full time I often end up in the pub because it's the quickest easiest thing BUT it isn't the healthiest or cheapest. I decided a few weeks ago to start watching what I eat, as well as stop wasting all my money in the pub. The best solution I could come up with to eat something warm was soup. We are stocking up a bit on Soup just now. Asda was selling 4 tins of Heinz Soup for £2 , which was an alright offer. I think the normal price for the 400g tin is about 85p thesedays, so 50p per tin is pretty good. Although my favourite is Lentil and Tomato, I do like the odd change now and again. The wife likes other kinds, so we thought we'd get this one and a few others ones to try after not having them for a while. The tin is ok looking.
