THE HISTORY OF HEINZ

In 1869, Americans Henry J. Heinz and L. Clarence Noble lauched the brand with their bottled horseradish.

In 1892, Henry J. Heinz travelled on the train on the New York railway. When he looked out of the window he saw a poster advertising 21 different styles of shoes. This gave him an idea. He counted up all of the different products made by his companies- it was at this moment that heinz 57 Varieties was born. Its a good job he wasn't counting up products now, as hr would be there for days!

In 1876, the famous heinz Tomato Ketchup was launched.

1896- Heinz Baked Beans are born!

1931- soups and baby foods are added to the range.

1951- Heinz is awarded the Royal Warrant, as suppliers of food to the Royal family.

1967- the slogan 'Beanz Meanz Heinz' is born.

1975- Heinz removes all salt from its baby foods

1994- Farleys joins Heinz

1999- Heinz is valued at 11 billion

2004- the Mum's Own range is launched in the UK

With this history, its easy to trust their products!

Sorry for the low rating but the relevant part of the review by and large consisted of a list of ingredients for one of the range of products in the Mum's own range. I appreciate it is difficult to provide information on taste (been there done that !!) but to get the better ratings your review needs to expand on the range of products available.
