    Why not make the switch?

I am an absolute ketchup fiend. I will have it on absolutely everything I eat. Of course I started with a little dollop on my plate next to my chips but that soon developed into all potato products... then all vegetables... and now, well anything without a sauce really!

Although this makes all my food taste yummier than usual, there is quite a disadvantage in that it's so salty and sugary. I guess that because Ketchup is actually a condiment, people assume that there is no concern and don't include it in their calorie counting, when in fact there is a lot of unhealthiness to be blamed on that red sauce!

The reduced sugar and salt version comes in pretty much the same packaging. It's still in a squidgy bottle and is the same familiar shape, that you'll find just next to the usual stuff. The only difference is obviously it has a different name, and the label is blue as opposed to the traditional colour.

As somebody who has a lot of ketchup, I think I would be able to detect any taste that wasn't up to scratch. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this at a friend's house, that it is actually identical. So much so that I've converted to this type, just because it's that little bit better for me, and I know that making small changes in my diet like this can lead to a healthier life style.

Price wise, this costs the same as the other kind of ketchup, as in the original, so really I can't see any reason why you wouldn't make the switch. It tastes the same, looks the same and the price is the same. Try a taste test, and if you really can't tell the difference, then why not make the switch?
