Hempz Styling Mousse

Advantages: none that I found
Disadvantages: sticky hands card board effect on hair

...Boots salon system styling mousse is not a product that I would recommend to any one. I made the mistake of buying it when it was on a 3 for 2 offer in boots. The mousse that I bought was supossedly for firm control. It was a very watery mousse and in order to get a decent ''control'' I had to use loads of the stuff. The mousse left my hair feeling very sticky and like card board in places. Removing the mousse meant washing my hair it didnt brush out like some mousses do. I definetly wouldnt buy this mousse again and suggest to others that they buy one can at a time if they should buy it... Read review

Advantages: Cheap, not sticky, or thick

...There isn’t really much I, or any one else can say about a mousse except that it is good or bad or what they think about it. So this is my opinion on Tesco styling mousse, I know it’s a bit short but its all I could think of. I have been using this mousse for a while and I think it is very good as it is strong enough to hold down my hair, it is not sticky and it is also cheap. It was my dad who first bought this mousse because he is always on the look out for cheap things and so he found the Tesco styling mousse. In every canister there is three hundred millilitres of mousse, and depending on how much you use the mousse, it can last up to three weeks. When you push the nozzle and the mousse comes out in to your hand the first thing I noticed was that it was very light and not stick either unlike some of the other mousses you can get... Advantages: I found that this product did not leave my hair feeling greasy like some mousses.
Disadvantages: I found that teh mousse dispensed in quite large quantities and it was difficult to apply a small amount

...I have shoulder length thick hair which I like to scrunch dry and I found that this product really helped to form curls that lasted. The mousse smelt very nice and did not leave any sticky residue on my hair . I have used the mousse and then blow dried my hair and have also used the mousse and left my hair to dry naturally both of these styling options worked well with the mousse. After using the mousse my hair felt smooth and shiny and the curls stayed in until I next washed my hair. I did find it difficult to dispense a small amount of mousse but this could well be due to my heavy handedness. Overall would definitley buy again.... Read review
