Herbal Essences Dazzling Shine Conditioner

I have had a good deal of experience of the Herbal essences range, which is under the Clairol brand. This particular Herbal essences conditioner is called Dazzling Shine, and is designed for normal hair -whatever that may be these days. I do use the Herbal essences shampoo and conditioner range regularly, and so my results with them are obviously satisfactory. Buying As you may have read in my previous review I always buy the matching conditioner to any shampoo I buy, I am not quite sure it really makes a difference but my thinking is that they have been formulated to work together so that is how I use them. I am always on the lookout for a bargain, I am a self confessed bargain whore changing products from one week to the next to save a few pennies, this being the case I was pleasantly surprised at this product being on offer. I assume that the only reason this was reduced was to get everyone aware of the new and more ascetically eye pleasing bottles, and in fairness they are pretty gorgeous. I bought this conditioner around two weeks ago as I had run out of my usual one. I am not brand loyal and I chose this one because it was half price in my local co op. I also thought that it sounded pretty nice as it is apparently infused with 'shimmery pearl & rose extracts' and I was impressed by the unique, stylish design of the bottle. This conditioner retails at around £3.50 for a 400ml bottle, but I managed to get mine (which is 250ml) on offer and I paid around £1.20, which I think is a real bargain considering how effective this is and it leaves my hair feeling amazing. I’ve been using the Herbal Essences Dazzling Shine Shampoo for a long time now, so I recently decided to give the matching conditioner a try too, hoping it would be just as good. I picked up a 400ml bottle for £3.26 in Morrisons. The conditioner comes in a tall plastic bottle which is opaque so you can’t easily see how much you have left. The bottle is curved at one side to fit together with the matching shampoo bottle. It stands on it’s lid so the contents are always ready to come out, no shaking or squeezing necessary, and it has a press top lid which makes it easy and convenient to use. The ... more
