I bought this product to banish the tell-tale stretch marks after giving birth to my son. Used after a bath or shower, this product leaves you feeling wonderfully moisturised and although I used the full 200ml tube I didn't notice any discernable difference in the condition of my skin. I felt beutifully moisturised but I found the product left me with a bit of a greasy feeling, as if I'd used an oil as opposed to a cream. It took quite a while to absorb and although using this product wasn't a negative experience I don't think I'd buy it again to reduce stretch marks, but as a body moisturiser if anything. I got this product through Amazon for £19.95. I thought I'd treat myself with some Amazon vouchers i got at Christmas. Decleor Firming Stretch Mark Cream

Advantages: Makes skin feel soft and smooth
Disadvantages: Haven't really seen the desired effect!

also stocks Decleor products! (Yep, they really are selling everything these days..) It costs around £25 and comes in a 150ml tube. The directions on the tube are to use daily to the affected parts of the body. Basically you are meant to rub it in to your 'problem areas' and it will firm your stretch marks. I have been using this for a couple of months. Once you apply it to your skin and it absorbs, your skin does feel instantly firmer, but it isn't a lasting effect, it doesn't stay feeling firm, the firm sensation wears off quite quickly. I think this is quite good for its moisturising capabilities, but as for the firming part - I don't think it really works. Advantages: It really does what it claims!
Disadvantages: It's a bit pricey

Rating: Excellent Pro's: Smoother skin, reduced blemishes and sun spots. Cons: The price, some tingling. I started using the Alpha hydroxy cream after reading some reviews online. I am 34 with rather oily skin and the occasional breakout. According to what I read on the net, this cream was originally designed to treat acne scarring, but it proved to also reduce fine lines and improve skintone. In short: I love this cream. My skin has gotten very smooth and I rarely have breakouts anymore. My sunspots have nearly gone too. I do find that if I do not use the cream for a few days my skin returns to it's old state, so beware, it's addictive. The cream is quite thick and rich, and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft.
