...These speakers are excellent value! As there is seperate subwoofer you can get a lot of sound out. The sound is very good up to high volumes and does not easily get distorted. Other bonuses to the Hercules XPS are the surround sound, which is actually very good coupled with a reasonable sound card. The speakers are small and come in attractive silver. The speaker wires for the surround sound speakers are a great length, however the front left, right and centre are a little short but ok if you want them quite close to your computer (around 1.5 meters). The subwoofer is also quite chunky and gives good depth to games and films too. The unit does not come with a digital in but this isn't really neccassary. ...For a start the price is extremely acceptable when you first see it. My speakers arrived pretty quickly and the packaging was well done. The real gem is the sound quality: the sub is big and you would be strapped to find a bigger satellite. Also let me say 120 Watts is a lot, more worth it if you live out in the countryside. Combine these with a half decent soundcard or even the equaliser on something like itunes and you will be over the moon. You can see on the picture, the closest speaker has some jacks in the side, this lets you plug IN like an ipod which I used for a party the other day or headphones so you don't need to reach round your computer anymore.
