Advantages Fresh air, yet 30 mins from the night life of Central London - great facilities and dedicated staff.
Disadvantages None I can think of!
I came here to take a one year Masters course after reading a Psychology degree at the University of Westminster thinking it would be an "in" to all sorts of careers. Well to be honest it wasn't.
This may have been for a number of factors, for example being a "mature student' but the one thing it wasn't was because of a lack of technical skill or dedication of the lecturers. This was a VERY intensive course and we really felt the pressure, yet through it all ther was never any feeling that the slowest were being left behind, or that the fastest were not being stretched.
The college is exceptionally well served by computing facilities being the recipient af many grants from the major computing companies. The campus is beautiful, set not too far out of London, but yet in rolling fields. The accomodation is not luxurious, but certainly of a higher standard than available in many other uni's.
Obviously I can only speak of the computing degrees, but if that's what you're looking for - the University of Hertfordshire is the one for you!
