Excellent & reasonable budget priced printer, good speed of print dependant on the quality required, photo printing better if the optional photo cartridge is used, software & manual supplied but no USB Lead. Loading the software is not easy as it was obviously written for XP with Vista as an after thought even though it says on the box that it is for Vista. With Vista you have to load the software & get it working then go online to HP Support & get the update to make the scannner buttons work on the machine, It downloads the update automatically but then it advises "If a Vista user do not install, go to", followed by the URL. Overall it took me a modest 24 days to get working correctly but even at that I had to get a relative who knows his way around a computer to assist me with all the turmoil caused in the registry. If you do not succeed with the first install or subsiquent installations beware of uninstalling it more than once as it leaves behind a residue of the previous installation which will cause hard to clear up trouble. My advice is if you are not an IT tech or above average user, give it a miss. It cost me £25.00, Cheap but not very cheerfull.
