Advantages Durable, plenty of functions

I've owned this printer for four years now and it's been well worth the money. I'd previously had 2 Epson printers both of which started to develop clogged printer heads and plenty of ink was wasted 'cleaning' the heads. I've never had such problems with this printer, or any other real problems. It's a fairly compact printer considering it houses a paper tray, two CD trays, a photo paper tray and a scanner. It features slots for various memory cards allowing the user to print without the use of a computer if desired, it is also possible to copy items and print special paper (eg. squared) without a computer. The printer has a built in screen with various print, scan and copy menus.
The software provided with the printer is very intuitive allowing easy access to a wide range or options when printing or scanning and there's some additional options for adjusting photos before printing.Unlike previous printers this one rarely has paper jams, I've had about 3 in total and |I use the printer on a regular basis for university work The cartridges produce a fairly high yield and there's the option of buying larger cartridges as well. The printer came with full normal sized black and colour cartridges, the black lasted for around 350 pages. I replace mine with HP original cartridges because the ink dries fairly quickly and prints evenly on the page, something that doesn't always happen with compatible cartridges.
