Advantages: 6 ink, network ready, quick and quiet Disadvantages: none
...This is a superb piece of kit. It took me a long time to locate a supplier that actually had stock and it is easy to see why. I ended up getting the printer for £140 from savastore.com (now rebranded as saverstore.com). The HP 3210 combines printing, copying and scanning from within the same device. Add to this card slots for the most popular data cards and pictbridge / usb support and you have yourself a very highly sophistcated device. The HP 3210 uses 6 ink cartridges so that you only replace the colour that runs out (unlike the standard 2 cartridge printers which insist on replacing all the colours when one runs out). I have this printer installed on my wireless network and it behaves admirably (though it does need to be connected to the router via an ethernet cable). The printer is extremely quiet with the quality second...

Advantages: Great printer, good scanner, built-in networking Disadvantages: Poor copy speed, two cartridge system
...to consider a system with room for several individual colours.
Scanning is simple, fairly fast and very high quality. I had held on to my old reliable scanner, expecting limited results from this low cost unit, but it's good enough that I only resort to the flatbed when I have to deal with scans significantly bigger than A4.
Copying in colour or black and white are simple whether direct from the unit or using the PC. But it's not fast. Go and make a cup of tea. For some reason, decent speed scanning and good speed printing don't make for good speed copying. Restricted processing speed. And I do miss my previous HPAll-in-One's document feeder. No way round it, copying a long document is a chore.
For the money, I believe this is an exceptional unit. Network-ready and highly competent, if you are looking for a strong family or home...

Advantages: Fax, Copy and send all at the same unit. Disadvantages: Slow printing time
...I brought my Hp officejet 4110 all-in-one along with my new computer in January and aswell as the attractive price found that it didnt use up much space. I like many other people work from home and find that when you have a small office you need small compact things to utilise your space effectively. So i got rid of my old fax machine with was way to old and big, gave my old printer away and i didnt have a scanner but i needed one and went down to my local PC World looking for a printer which can send faxes and scan my documents, And after a rather confusing conversation with the salesman as i am not very technicall minded he directed me in the direction of this HPall-in-one.
So after been told all of the features of it i ended up buying it, i took it home and got it all set up in about an hour as i had to do a bit of jugling...

This is the most intolerable piece of office machinery in existence.
We have had an HP 2820 in our office for the past year, and the machine is generally loathed and despised - and the grunt of many office jokes.

Let's face it, if you're going to buy a printer then you should certainly be looking at the Epson range with a wide variety of printers at different price points from the entry level all the way up to photo quality.
