Advantages: Very stylish, reliable high specification PC
Disadvantages: HP software not really needed.

...The hp dc7800 is a brilliant consumer product, i currently work for a computer firm and we have had quite a few HP deskyop PCs brought in and installed for our clients. The Hp desktops are very reliable and speedy machines, they tend to come complete with manufacturer software such as:- - Roxio CD/DVD creator - HP system software manager - HP protest tools security software The hp software is not really needed but the roxio cd/dvd creatpr is very useful. This PC will be perfect for business use, and possibly a decent gaming machine. Samll review on the installed hardware PROCESSOR - Core 2 Quad Q6600 / 2.4 GHz very speedy processor, reliable and fast, perfect for multifunction tasks. ...This drive was originally purchased to replace the HP CDRW in a HP Pavilion XL946 that belonged to the business of a friend of mine's (is that proper English? Heck if I know! ;-), a computer that I recently inherited and am enjoying greatly. The drive was originally used under WinME, and is currently being used under Win2K Pro SP4. It works great, I have NO complaints about it sofar. The included software is not what I'm used to, it takes a little to get to know but it functions adequately if you've never used a CD or DVD burner before. ArcSoft's Showbiz DVD makes it very easy to author DVDs and VCDs, although the interface is too simplistic and menu-driven for my taste. I prefer using either Roxio EZ-CD Creator 5 Platinum or Nero Burning ROM 6, which gives a lot more options. CyberLink PowerDVD is an excellent software-based DVD... Read review
