Advantages: CAN PURCHASE VERY CHEAPLY AT EBAY Disadvantages: NO LONGER MADE AND NO LONGER SUPPORTED BY HP
...We bought an hp omnibook 600 from ebay with warranty about four years ago, when we tried to get the warranty extended we were told that hp no longer support them so beware, we needed a new computer and a laptop is portable so we decided to buy one, this was our first laptop and my husband still uses it now, although its old it still looks as new, no dead pixels, very lightweight, my husband uses the internet a lot and this was ideal for him.
Although they are no longer covered by hp if you get one and look after it theres no reason that it wont last you, ours is older than four years old, and the spec isnt brilliant but it does its job, we have never had to have it looked at.
Spec:
pentium 3, 256RAM, 850mhz, dvd, removable floppy drive, 2OGB hd....

Advantages: awesome pc, fast, realiable! Disadvantages: no disadvantages!
...Yes folks!
this compaq presario was my 3rd desktop i have bought and it is the best!
it is fast, extremely good value!
i have made several upgrades to the standard factory pc, for example, i have put in another dvd-rw, and higher graphics card and 512mb ram, my pc is now very very fast for making home videos and alike!
i can browse the web, do homework, and carry out hundreds of other day to day tasks!
this computer comes with an excelent inteface for setting up your perfect home pc, and if/when i buy my next pc it is definately goin to be a compaq presario desktop pc!
if you are planning on buying this pc, you should have 50 to 70 pounds extra to send on another dvddrive and a better graphics/vdu card, but other wise an excelent piece of machinery!
youl love this pc and i recommend you buy it now!...

Advantages: Great value Disadvantages: none come to mind
...come along this should do just fine.
There's no floppy disk drive, although there is a memory card reader at the front that will handle all common card formats. The recordable DVDdrive will write + and -R/RW discs as well as dual layer DVD+Rs, while there is also a second DVDdrive. The case looks very neat and its good to have many of the features accessable from the front.
Software includes Windows XP Home, WinDVD SE, WinDVD Creator and HP Image Zone.
I've used this PC together with the HP pavilion f1723 monitor with great success, and would advise you to consider it if you are looking for a new PC....

I am in no way a professional photographer, indeed I am more a 'point, click and pray for the best' type photographer, but this camera has made my results much better than expected. I actually got this camera as a second choice after the one I wanted was more
It's hard to take offence to this fab little camera; the R837 is well constructed, fairly priced, intuitive to use, and delivers images of reasonable quality for what it is - although red eye is a real problem the in-camera editing software fixes this... more
