...I couldn't find this computer in the list of compaqs so i thought id write about the Compaq - Ipaq under this heading! hope you don't mind! The ipaq is a long-term stuff favourite, initially i am seduced by its looks and design...metalic surface and its undoubtable un-PC curves, but it also paqs a ferocious punch under its trendy exteriour; The price does not include a monitor but considering you get a PIII 500 with 128MB RAM and 8GB hard drive, at £580 its an absolute bargain any way. And when you can buy a compaq 15" monitor at £120, you really can't complain!... Read review

Advantages: its very portable
Disadvantages: price and lack of ram and hard drive

...Manager, Roxio Easy Media Creator 9, HP OpenView Radia Management Agent, HP QuickLook, HP Universal Print Driver. All these programs are free to install and use, however some are just demos for a limited number of days. If you want a fast portable laptop then this is great, it will cost around £600 though which is quite expensive for a laptop that only has 80gb of hard drive and just 1gb of ram. This might put you off it however it is very portable and its got fantastic battery life as well as looking a lot nicer than most laptops designed for business men and portability so altogether it’s a fantastic laptop....
