Serial Attached SCSI is the logical evolution of SCSI, including its long-established software advantage and the Serial ATA electrical and physical connection interface. With enterprise storage requirements escalating and becoming more complex, factors such as larger capacity, greater density, security, scalability and accessibility are more critical than ever. Advantages: Lots of space for all your gaming needs. Disadvantages: Price, Dust, Missing GB
...My personal experience with the Xbox 360 harddrive has been fairly positive. The ability to store music, films, videos and of course games saves is one that no Xbox gamer should be without. 120 GB of memory is more than enough for the average gamer. The harddrive is well designed to blend with the console perfectly. It is small and easy to store.
However the price is pretty heavy compared to the cheaper 20GB versions. A problem with the memory is the fact that the harddrive does not actually have 120GB, obviously it wouldn't be exactly due to the need for the running files but several GB are actually missing. Regular cleaning is advised as dust tends to collect on the harddrive but a sharp blow into the docking port is sufficient to clear this.
All in all this product is an incredibly useful addition to any Xbox 360 gamers...

Advantages: Great invention, reasonable price, large capacity Disadvantages: Bulky, noisy
...I store a lot of photos, music and documents on my laptop and was finding I was needing to delete documents or put things on cds to enable me to save more data on my laptop. This was getting to be a pain, so I took a trip to PC World to see what options there were. I spoke to an advisor and on special offer was this Seagate External Harddrive, instead of the RRP of £120 I got this harddrive for £70. I thought it would be really useful and this has proved true. The harddrive also came with a 1 year guarenteed warranty.
The harddrive is grey and black and looks quite bulky, especially when plugged into a laptop. It has a USB cable which connects into the USB port in your computer or laptop and a cable which is plugged into the mains. When the harddrive is on, a small green light is displayed on the top. The harddrive...

Advantages: Smaller, less power hungry Disadvantages: None
...Following on from my review yesterday on server Ultra SCSI hard disks, here im going to tell you about their younger, smaller and better brother. The Serial SCSI hot swap 146.8GbHard disks by HP.
As with all technology, everything seems to be in the constant evolution to downsize. Harddrive downsizing always struck me as a difficult one to tackle as people require more and more storage, hence bigger disk space. Somehow the Serial SCSI has mastered this by shrinking the form factor down from a width of 3.5 inches to 2.5. The Height of the device is also somewhat reduced.
A reduction in size means a reduction in moving parts size. This in turn leads to a great power saving which makes these drives more economical and environmentally friendly than their older but bigger brothers.
As mentioned we have a mixture of G4 and G5...
