DDS is historically the most reliable and durable technology ever introduced within the ... more
tape market. DDS is ideal for entry-level and small networks looking for higher capacities with lower cost of ownership. DDS is an affordable solution for unattended back ups. HP co-invented DDS technology and was the first company to expand its DDS offering into the 5th generation known as DAT-72. In addition to co-inventing the DDS technology, HP also co-invented DAT-72 and the new generation of DAT-160. HP's DDS media portfolio is now the most robust within the industry. HP has extended an already popular and trusted format by doubling the transfer rate to 12 MB/sec and more than doubling the capacity to 160 GB to create the new DAT 160.

Advantages: Quick transfer speed, Disadvantages: Fairly Bulky
What can i say this is an internal had-drive which obviously integrates within a computer system. Nowadays 80GB is not enough for anyone as programs are now increasing in size due to their complexity and what they have to offer.
A harddrive is a non-volatile storage device which stores digitally encoded data on rapidly rotating platters with magnetic surfaces. Non-volatile storage is simply the name given to a storage device which can retain stored data even when not powered. With a volatile storage device being one that can not retain saved data e.g. RAM (Random Access Memory).
I used to have an 80GBharddrive in the past on my "OLD" PC, which was about 5 years ago. Now i have a 300 GBharddrive which i have to admit is filling up really quickly. Due to the number of files stored e.g music, photo, video etc.

Microsoft Xbox 360 HardDrive 120GB
This Microsoft Xbox 360 HardDrive is a great thing to buy for your Xbox 360 console as you will have lots more memory.
On your xbox 360 harddrive you can store many things such as music, videos, pictures, game demos and much more.
Normally a standard Xbox 360 console has 20GB which means you have to delete files every now and again.
When using the 120GBharddrive you don't have to worry about running out of space as you have plenty of memory.
It is very easy to attach the harddrive and once its attached your ready to go.
There is no disadvantages about this product it simply allows you to store much more files.
I recommend this product to any potential buyers. ...
Advantages: Lots of space for all your gaming needs. Disadvantages: Price, Dust, Missing GB
My personal experience with the Xbox 360 harddrive has been fairly positive. The ability to store music, films, videos and of course games saves is one that no Xbox gamer should be without. 120 GB of memory is more than enough for the average gamer. The harddrive is well designed to blend with the console perfectly. It is small and easy to store.
However the price is pretty heavy compared to the cheaper 20GB versions. A problem with the memory is the fact that the harddrive does not actually have 120GB, obviously it wouldn't be exactly due to the need for the running files but several GB are actually missing. Regular cleaning is advised as dust tends to collect on the harddrive but a sharp blow into the docking port is sufficient to clear this.
All in all this product is an incredibly useful addition to any Xbox 360 gamers ...
