center requirement of scalability, performance, reliability and manageability, while leveraging a common electrical and physical connection interface with Serial ATA (SATA). software advantage and the Serial ATA electrical and physical connection interface. With enterprise storage requirements escalating and becoming more complex, factors such as larger capacity, greater density, security, scalability and accessibility are more critical than ever. Enterprise data centers must be online all the time, fulfill requests from numerous users simultaneously, allow for constant growth and expansion and be maintained while in operation. Serial Attached SCSI meets all these demands while providing the highest performance. As the technology evolves, device support will be further enhanced, making it an even more attractive alternative for enterprise users who want a solution far superior and more flexible than any other storage technology. The results of aligning the Serial Attached SCSI and Serial ATA technologies to serve storage users, who need large capacity at a lower cost, will provide even greaterchoice to the storage industry.
...of software. The first one is HP Image Zone Express, which catalogues all the images on your harddrive and allows you to do some minor manipulations, such as balancing the colours, removing red eye, rotating, etc before you print them. This is extremely easy to use and also allows you to place your pictures into frames, calendars etc etc. Although it is no substitute for a professional editing package it does a great job considering the cost of the printer.
It also comes with HP Solution Centre, which is an onscreen guide for assisting you with any problems in setting up, changing defaults etc etc.
Along with this, you get a useful little piece of software called HP Suresupply, which allows you to monitor the ink levels of your cartridges and if you wish you can order replacements directly from HP.
Another nice feature of the driver...

...constantly and consistently.
The interface transfer rate on the LaCie is 400 Mbps (Mega-BITS per second), this is different to memory capacity as it is the speed at which data is transferred between the hard-drive on a PC or laptop. The interface transfer rate along with the 8 MB of buffer size means that you get an overall data transfer rate in MB (Mega Bytes) of 30 MB/s (Mega BYTES per second). The 30 MB/s transfer rate means that the hard-disk will allow a maximum of 30 MB of data transfer every second to and from a desktop PC or laptop.
As soon as you plug your LaCie external hard-drive into your PC or Laptop, it will be discovered virtually instantly as the average seek-time (time taken to discover or find the hard-drive) is 12 ms (mili-seconds), which is absolutely quick and efficient as is anything under 1 second.
