It was only £10 which is a decent price for a small but useful adapter like this, especially considering it saved me buying a new keyboard and mouse (I'm picky about what I use for different activities) which could have cost up to £150.
It conforms to the Plug And Play standard, which basically means you don't need to install or configure anything to work it, just plug it in to a USB port and plug some PS/2 devices into it and tada, IT WORKS!
Not only is it plug and play, but you can unplug and plug in devices at any time without restarting your computer - which is unusual for something to do with PS/2 and quite a nice feature.
It hasn't failed on me yet, nor have any wires snapped...

Advantages: Fast, Fast, FAST!!! (Oh yeah... and easy to set up and use, too.) Disadvantages: Huh?!!? No stereo speakers?!?!
..." -wise, a desktop model was definitely a much better buy. And the computer with the most "bang" – at least on paper, anyway – was the Compaq Presario 5004US. After discussing different models with the salesman for 30 minutes, and weighing my options for nearly another hour, I paid the man $1,149 and eagerly walked out with my new "screamer."
