HP's Custom Labeled Data Cartridges allow customers to place a custom order with HP and specifically define the exact barcode sequence printed on each label. Customers should expect a longer lead-time for custom order processing. HP's Non-Custom Labeled Data Cartridges allow customers to receive labeled data cartridges fast because no customization process is required. These products are perfect for customers that require labeled media but do not need to define the exact sequence printed on each label. Each HP Non-Custom Labeled Data Cartridge has a unique, pre-defined barcode sequence printed on each label (no duplicate codes).
...the leading edge LTO tapes have a small spring loaded "door" at the side through which the tape is dispensed into the drive. So unlike your videos, which spool from one side to the other, this is spun out in one long line and then rewound. I could be totally wrong but Fuji and the other manufacturers are a little obscure on this!
Enough of that anyway; what do you do with them?
You copy your ever so precious data onto it. Now I'm willing to bet a penny to an LTO drive that your data isn't worth £3000+. Nope, didn't think so.
But for business it is. Frequently it's worth a lot more than that.
Your average home user will NEVER need this much storage capacity. Each tape has a native (I.E. Uncompressed) capacity of 200GB. Most home PCs don't even have hard drives that big. Compress the data and you can get a theoretical capacity of 400GB...

...Nearly 4 years ago I bought myself my first well known laptop after 3 lots of non branded ones. There is a world of difference and with careful selection I ended up with the Compaq Evo N800. What a break that turned out to be.
First things first - the screen is superb with top laptop resolution rather than the crappy max of 1280xnothing offered by most other models out there even today. 1400 x 1050 gives too small a font some might say. Load of rubbish. This screen has the best viewability I've ever witnessed by which I mean that it's easily readable from any angle in front of the screen. No, it's not widescreen but don't let that put you off.
Battery time is a solid 2-3 hours depending on activity and even after 4 years of the same battery it's still the same.
Layout of ports etc is pretty standard and the only thing...
