For my experience with the 'HP DESKJET F380', I decided to examine the reliability of the PRINT facilities immediately after THE SET UP process. My first, personal trial was printing colourful logos and posters, designed by myself in colour on A4-sized glossy paper, weighing 45 pounds 5 ounces (45lb 5 oz). For this experiment, I employed a set of Tesco value, photo paper that is reasonably glossy and weighs 170 grams per square metre (170gsm), equivalent to 45lb 5oz. Advantages: Great processor, Massive Hard Drive, Cheap price for what you get

...About a year or so ago I decided to invest in a new PC as I was not having much luck with my last one, after much deliberation I decided to go with the T3345 due to it's fast processor, well sized hard drive and general superiority over other desktops within a similar price range. I already had a decent TFT monitor so was able to focus all of my £600 on getting a good base unit for my money. Obviously now you can pick up something a lot better than this for £600 as when buying a new computer there is no such thing as future-proofing really, but at the time of purchase it seemed to me to be a good deal. I am still very happy with the computer I chose in the end so feel that I made a good decision in investing in an HP computer as it has been extremely reliable and has yet to go wrong which is always nice. Advantages: Cheap, relatively small, does everything a monitor should do

...means we didn't really get a taste of how good the manufacturers support was. Despite this however, Compaq is a large reliable brand thats a key holder of market share in the IT industry, therefore I'm sure they must base themselves on good customer care to have achieved such a dominant market role. As for the instruction manual, it was excellent, with all the information we needed included and more; although it was very rare we had to use it anyway! ---------------------------- VALUE FOR MONEY ---------------------------- Finally, is this monitor worth the money and would I reccomend it? Well its fair to say that 15" CRTs are becoming a thing of the past so this perhaps isn't the solution for new hi tech businesses...on the otherhand however it would provide adequate to those with an older computer or as a monitor for the kids...
