believe that most of my batteries have charged in about 60 minutes, on a full charge from an empty battery. As well as getting the charger, which plugs straight into the wall it includes 4x 2500mAh Ni-MhAA's (which are in sliver, and look quite attractive, you won't get these thrown out as they definately stand out from panasonic and duracell) You can charge AAA batteries however the sale only comes with 4AAbatteries.

Getting fed up with constantly having to buy new batteries for our Wii remotes, we started looking into buying some of the rechargeablebattery packs you can buy for them. I read a few reviews and decided that it would probably be better to buy a batterycharger and a few sets of batteries instead.
After looking around I found the Sony High Capacity Super QuickCharger For AA And AAA Batteries and for £16.99 with four AAbatteries included it seemed like a good deal, almost all of our electrical items seem to be Sony so with it being a brand we trusted I bought it.

To re-charge the batteries, I use a Uniross Ni-Cd & NiMHbatterycharger that I purchased by recommendation at the same time as the batteries. It takes about 4-5 hours for batteries to fully charge, which isn't bad considering they then last for weeks. The batteries can be charged up to 1,000 times.
After the success of the AAbatteries, we now use primarily all Uniross batteries to control our battery-fuelled appliances, including Uniross AAA batteries for our television, VCR and DVD remote controls, which last about 6 months.
