Dell Laptop

Advantages: Looks and feels good, easy to work and carry about
Disadvantages: battery broken within a year

This laptop is really good. however I have owned mine for just under a year now and the battery has broken so I need to get it fixed which is very annoying. Apart from the battery breaking I think that the laptop is great and I would buy a Dell laptop again. I use my laptop everyday but i would have expected the batttery to last longer, especially seeing as it is dell. Now I have the hassel of getting the battery fixed. I would still reccomend this dell laptop to other people as it is good value for money and looks nice etc and apart from the battery the laptop is easy to use and I haven't had any other problems with it. Dell is usually a reliable service and hopefully it wont be too bad having to get the battery fix, if not then I can buy a new battery. ...

Review of Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop

Great little laptop!

Advantages: Size, Portability, Looks, Speed, Ease of Installing New Stuff
Disadvantages: The mousepad sensitive, easy to fingermark the product, loud fan noises, odd keyboard shortcuts

I bought this laptop with my summer job's first month's wages. I'm a law student normally, and since my trusty HP dv2000 broke, I have been salivating over laptops. Hence! I took my boyfriend's advice and chose a model with a smallish hard drive (compared to the massive 500gig Acer I liked!) since primarily I use my laptop for work - and word.doc files are pretty small. I took my step dad to Currys and we wandered about for about 30 minutes looking at the laptops that matched trusty boyfriend's recommendations. However, my boyfriend forgot my deep love for black shiny things. Heh. You see, I hate colour. I hate chrome. I hate these things because in my opinion, they're just... Tacky. Each to their own though, right? So eventually, the salesman came over (I was pretty annoyed it took him so long, but hey) and my stepdad got to work ...
