Manufacturer's product description

Over the years Hewlett-Packard has developed a highly successful RISC processor line - the PA-RISC (Precision Architecture Reduced Instruction Set Computing) family, in addition to a highly robust and functional, Unix operating system - HP-UX. PA-RISC and HP-UX have been inseparable in Hewlett-Packard's award-winning, Unix workstations and high-end Unix servers (N-class, V-class, L-class, A-class). Hewlett-Packard's commitment and execution have been stellar. PA-RISC processors can be used in a myriad of configurations from uni-processor to 64 way multi-processors. Hewlett-Packard's enterprise solutions allow customers to configure their systems in SMP (Symmetric Multi-Processor) or ccNUMA (Non-Uniform Memory Access) formats, providing scalability and flexibility to customers.

Review of HP LaserJet 6L by  mraouf101

Advantages: Compact Size, Durability, Speed
Disadvantages: HP Support, Discontinued...

...on the web, and there is no physical support. I think it’s a bad point from HP not to give attention to old customers, I know the printer is a bit old and out of fashion, however the should consider customers who need fixing and service for their products. -- Supported Media Sized (Paper) • Letter (8.5 x 11 inch) • A4 (210 x 297 mm) • C5 Envelopes (162 x 229 mm) • Legal (8.5 x 14 inch) • COM10 Envelopes (4.125 x 9.5 inch) • B5 Envelopes (176 x 250 mm) • Executive (7.25 x 10.5 inch) • DL Envelopes (110 x 220 mm) • Monarch Envelopes (3.875 x 7.5inch) • Other custom sized media -- Device Benchmark Tests Didn’t do any and don’t know how to make benchmarks for a printer… -- Problems There are a lot of problems concerning this printer; however I’ll try to put them in form of problem and solution style. COMPAQ ARMADA! I see no ships
Review of Compaq Armada M300 - PIII 500 MHz - 11.3" TFT by  grahamdavidcook

Advantages: Light weight tiny Laptop
Disadvantages: As it 2 or 3 years old a bit slow

...We bought the Compaq Armada M300 as a Christmas present for our 13 year old daughter, mainly for 2 reasons, to run Microsoft Encarta to enable her to do her HOMEWORK! And to run the Sims, she’d been asking for this for about 2 years and we were loathed to load it on the family’s computer for fear that nobody else would get a look in! The Computer, we found on E-Bay for £145 plus £18 postage, we were not particularly looking for a Compaq, but rather any Laptop that had a processor that met the Sims minimum requirement ( that being PII 300). The Compaq far surpassed that! And so we went ahead and made the purchase via Paypal on Sunday night and much to our delight it arrive at 7.30am on Tuesday morning. The only problem, now was that the standard Compaq Armada comes without any external Drives and so we set about finding a CD... Read review

Hewlett Packard nice package
Review of HP Brio BA400 - C 466 MHz by  richardcatling777

Advantages: Fully installed and ready to go
Disadvantages: It installs extra software that is not needed

...This is another package from Hewlett Packard which at the time when bought out was reasonable priced. Nowadays you can pickup a package like this between £100 and £250 depending on any upgrades. Usually the processor is around 600mhz and can be upgraded to around 1000mhz. The only problem with this machine is of the L2 cache installed on the main board. The more L2 cache the quicker and easier the processor can handle information. The maximum memory my machine could take was 512mb but not sure on the higher spec machines. My machine came with a scrolling mouse which many machines didn't have. All machines that i knew of came with Windows 98 but this can be wiped and Windows 2000 or even XP can easily be installed with 128mb memory. My PC came installed with Windows 98 and a few other programs installed, these other programs were... Read review
