I was looking around for some time for a printer but happy enough to go to the internet cafe for my printing needs in between time. Having been on the Internet for a year my regular trips to the internet cafe for printing were getting too regular the boy behind the counter thought I fancied him. So I got out my catalogue from Littlewoods and had a look through. They had a three in one printer, copier and scanner which seems to be the way to go. Had a quick look in Currys recieved the usual obnoxious useless non advise from their nihilist sales girl so phoned Littlewoods.

A very helpful girl took my order offering extended warrany at the same time which I took up of course as I can not turn down a pretty voice. It arrived by special delivery next day which was a suprise as quoted delivery time was in a week.

It comes in a lovely box with pictures on it promising a happy experience. On opening the box it is noticable how well packed the machine is so it takes some time to get all the cardboard plastic bags and polystyrene cleard away.

Next the instructions two types one is the quick and easy install guide the other is the full box of instructions. I looked at the quick and easy guide following them step by step and had no trouble until the last task fitting the ink cartridges. This is trickey until you find the knack so time and time again I mis-fitted them until all most on my last piece of patience checked the picture one more time and noticed it said must be switched on when putting ink cartridge in machine. Plugged machine in and the ink holder slid into place allowing me to plug the cartridge into place easily!

So next plugged it into my computer an easy a task as easy as plugging a camera into my computer a bleep bleep noise is heard and up pops a screen put install installation disc into c drive it said so putting CD into tray so as to let computer download all the info it needs into the machine so as to work the photo albums etc.

Now wanting to scan all my old photos into my computer started to scan and how easy it is. Place photo in corner of scan screen press scan it scans then a screen pops up on the computer save or not click save its saved. None of the lining up rig-morole in the past it is that easy. Next tried prining out an essay so press print it pops out no trouble what a boon it works like a dream.

It has continued to do so ever since. As it is a home printer the ink cartridges are not very big about 60 pages worth of essays which at £15 each is no cheaper than going to the internet cafe.

I am on my third black ink cartridge and the first color cartridge is about to run out but be careful with the colour cartridge as it can use all of one colour and still be full of the other two colours and so it pays not to print in only one colour like blue but use a combination if possible.

As for looks etc the same as in the picture so will not redescribe. It is also light in weight so easy to move around work's quitely and has a plug at the front for a camera to be pluged directly into it.

I would recommend this to some one whom does not have to do much printing so for home use a student may find it expensive to print out masses of essays which is does do very well however getting about 60 sheets per cartridge.

The pictures that i have printed off have always been of exceptional quality especially when i have used proper photo paper however this is very expensive. - Print speed - Like i said i only really use my printer for pictures and normally it only takes about 20 seconds for a full page of colour to be printed. Have It All-In-One
Review of Hewlett-Packard PSC 1510 All-in-One by huntressofthenight

Advantages: Great if you want all your solutions in one gadget
Disadvantages: Expensive ink & annoying pop-ups if your don't use the right brand

I think this is a good budget printer - whoever came up with the All-In-One concept needs a pat on the back - I hope I can help you come to your own conclusion. Here's a summary of my experiences. Aesthetics The design is excellent for the purpose. I can't say it's the most sophisticated but it does the job and the paper tray can be folded up making it compact and storable if necessary. The All-in-One is quite large for a modern printer but ...
...the option to choose the standard to which copies are made. The quality of printing has to be adjusted on whatever computer programme you are using (e.g Word). The quality is great for standard documents but for photographs I recommend setting the programme to 'Best print quality' to get the best results. The qulity really depends on a combination of camera, paper quality, printer and computer settings, so it's difficult to judge fairly without doign ... Read review

Advantages: All in one
Disadvantages: software needs to be constatnly installed

This printer is supposed to make your life easier yeah right hp in your dreams. Having had this printer now a year I can say this about it good for certain things but bad for a few more I say this because all in ones are supposed to be just that all in one however when this 150 model was made they forgot to put in the instruction book please do not connect to your computer as you will need to reinstall it every five minutes. Now the options you ...

Good printer for home
Review of Hewlett-Packard PSC 1510 All-in-One by bgmaciel

Advantages: USB connection, pleasant design, low ink consumption, printing speed
Disadvantages: low copying and scanning speed.

...price. Anyway, I ackonwledge that Hewlett-Packard printers quality, once being worked at a authorized repair shop. At the first sight, I found a very interesting looking printer. Anyway, its a very resistent device, and very easy to install, as every USB device. Printing quality is fair to its price, however, the capacity of Picture bridge is something interesting when used with a photographic in catridge. The printer can be shared with other computers ...
...computer. Through a printer server, I use it even in a wireless-b network, and it does work wonderfully. The copy function is very interesting also, as I use it mainly to copy documents. It does give us a good copying quality, even in the lowest quality. Scanning resolution is the best among home scanners I've seen, being capable to achieve excellent results. The only point that need to be improved is the scanning/copying speed. But, for a home-directed ... Read review

Review of Hewlett-Packard PSC 1510 All-in-One by peterthompson1986

Advantages: looks good, folds up, easy to use, pretty good quality
Disadvantages: pretty noisy, drinks ink,

Ive had this product for about 8/9 months now, needed a printer for uni so i didnt have ot keep running to the library and thought a scanner and photocopier would come in handy aswell. i bough this printer for around 45 pounds and couldnt wait to get it out the box, the main appeal of it to me was its look, i like the fact that it all closes up and you just have a box on your desk, although all paper must be taken out to fold it up. using the psc ...
