HP parallel cable - 3 m

Advantages: Reliability is great
Disadvantages: price is too much, old, not very flexible

...Nowadays on all computers you will see many USB ports but some of the HP printers still use the old parallel cable and this is not good. I don't like the HP printer cable because I think that it is too heavy and is hard to move around because it is so thick. But the good thing about the cable is that it lasts a very long time as mine has lasted ages and reliability is great. The price I think is too much for this wire and I am not happy why they have put the price too high because this wire is very old. I first started using this wire with my old HP printer which I purchased nearly six years ago. The wire lasted very long but I was disappointed with HP as over the years they had not made a single improvement to the wire. ...is still wired connected, I hope it was wireless, but its not. Just for fun I wrote the next section about this cable… -- IEEE-1284, what is that?! I wasn’t going to write this section in the first place, but it I thought it’s funny to write a total section about this cable. Anyway, this is the cable that connects the printer with the computer through the parallel port. I included a picture of the cable so you can get the picture of it. Anyway you must get this cable to be able to connect your printer to your PC, it’s around £ 7.25 in the market, but all depends on its length and its brand. Advantages: Quiet, fast and great print quality

...The HP DeskJet 959C is a colour inkjet originally aimed at the high-end home/small office user. It shares the same print engine with its more expensive siblings, the 980 and 990 and many of the same features. I've used this printer now for nearly six years (and tens of thousands of pages) without any problems. This it is the fourth HP printer I have purchased for home use and I'm not sure how many I've used in business.
