The AMD 1.92GHz processor delivers high speed and performance at low cost. Built upon the reliability of AMD's processor architecture this product is not only quick and stable but is easy to install. I found this product very attractive thanks to reviews on Ciao and others. Support from AMD was excellent and they provided top support for the product. Advantages: Value for money, Performance, Easy to install

... Performance I thought that it would be best to talk out the performance of the processor first since this is what everybody is looking for with games and application becoming more demanding. The performance of the E2160 out of the box is quite slow at only 1.8GHz but this is where the beauty of this processor comes in, it is highly overclockable, I have mine running at 3.2ghz and it doesn't go above 60 degrees C. The small 1MB L2 Cache does let it down slightly compared to some of the more expensive reviews but this CPU has amazing performance for its price. Price For its price this CPU is outstanding, I got mine for just under £50 and 3.2ghz from a £50 processor is just brilliant in my opinion, even some of the more expensive processors don't get these sort of speeds. Advantages: Dual Core, Low power usage* and Fast!
Disadvantages: Motherboards can be costly for this!

...but pentiums can be twice the price for the same spec AMD! In comparison to my old computer (old old p4 1.9Ghz with 1gb ram) this processor helps to wipe the floor with my old computer. The dual core feature means that in comparison i can listen to music, run an anti-virus scan, spyware and adware scan and play Hitman: Blood Money at the same time with very little noticeable shuddering or lag! Excellent. If my old computer attempted this bouts of freezing and poor gameplay would occur! The startup speeds of the computer are very noticeable as it takes around 40secs to boot in total (after everything has loaded up) whereas my old computer would literally take atleast 4 minutes to boot everything up - no joke!
