...Viking SecuredigitalSD256 - Camera memory card
A little gem this, purchased to use in my digital camera, it works every time.
It has a little lock switch on it if you want to make sure the kiddies wont delete anything.
It is also fully compatable with any mutli purpose card reader i've thrown it in.
Data transfer is quick. certainly not a limiting factor.
And at the prices these can be had for online now is so cheap its a wonder more people dont use them!
In fact i suppose that because all memory is so cheap now that people automatically go for the larger cards, but why not get a few this size, perhaps use one a day, or even one a week for your travels, pack them in the little box it comes in and you can easily email or have your pictures printed!...

Advantages: lots of storage, secure and robust Disadvantages: expensive compared to other brands
...I have had 2 of these cards for over 2 years now without any problems at all. I bought 2 * 256MB cards as this allows flexibility and will also help prevent pictures being lost if one card decides to fail. It is also handy when you're on holiday to have two cards and when one is full you can leave it at home and will still have your pictures if you lose your camera. Having 2 cards also alows rotation between them, extending the life of each card, something you couldn't do if you just had one big card. All in all, a very good product and I wouldn't buy any other brand....

This year, Santa brought me my first digi-cam (see review). I was chuffed to bits, and was soon snapping away at anything that moved, and often things that didnt!

There comes a point in every PC's life when it has to be upgraded or replaced. I'm firmly in the upgrade camp when it comes to such decisions and my ageing Emachines 170 which started life with a 1.7 GHz Celeron CPU, onboard Intel graphics and 128mb soon more
